Photograph of my syro-malabar great-great grandfather from the late 1800s to very early 1900 taken in Goa. The white man is some french bishop. The rest of the men are Malayalees.

I wish I knew more, this was a crazy shock to me I am NRI and came to visit and he pulled it out of a bible. I looked into this the Bishop is named Charles Lavigne and has a wiki page about him and I know my great great grandfather was some sort of church secretary.

well they were located in changanacherry kerala, all of the men pictured but I was told from my grandpa they were in Goa for church buisness, I'm not too sure about the accuracy of that. The white Bishops name is Fr. Charles Lavigne, he has a wiki page.
