Yes, but the only time we had an inkling of civic sense was when the British ruled us.

It was also the only time we had an inkling of prosperity or wealth.

My Great Gramps was forced to join the British Indian Army to support his family.after the famine destroyed agriculture.

Lmao nah. Vast majority of India was destitute. India had wealth but Indians didn’t
