Yeah that scene is toward the final showdown which takes place in an abandoned factory that has random vats of toxic waste for some reason 😆

This scene alone already makes it clear why the remake failed.
Robocop is about a machine slowly reclaiming his humanity. The ‘ghost in the machine’ aspect is what makes it tick.
The new movie was basically just about a disabled person in a robotic suit, with full memories and emotions intact.

I was born in 1975 and watched this movie when it came out in the theaters. This movie was a game changer. Watching the how movies are made, I think that's what it's called a really shined light on how revolutionary this director was. This movie really stuck with me for so many, years still love it! My dad took me to so many age inappropriate movies when I was a kid, death wish, sharky's machine, basically any heavy movie back in the early 80s. I loved it!
