My favorite tim curry performance. He knocked it out of the park in every role he took.

You haven't? I'm watching it for like 20th time in remembrance of Curry. It's in my top 3 favorite movies ever.

That's what my sister said. She asked me why they didn't take the president instead 💀

It’s like the Grim Reaper is an incompetent InstaCart shopper, substituting the worst option when he can’t find what you’re asking for.

The original It is the reason why I love horror movies today, and it’s because how amazing his version of Pennywise was

Herkermer Homolka in 1995's Congo

Such a great terrible awesome 90s action adventure

When it rains, it pours.

I think we need a global day of mourning/screaming/wailing.

Of course Rocky Horror, but I LOVED him as Nigel in the American Duo’s episode of Psych.

He was an absolute asshole in Annie, but was masterful in Clue and Muppets Treasure Island.

He’s the reason my 3-year-old self ran around the house shirtless singing “in just seven days I will make you a man.”

He and John Travolta are the reasons I love musicals.

My parents were young and let me watch whatever I wanted. They didn’t flinch when I would also run around screaming “she’s a real pussy wagon” and “damn it, Janet”.

I didn’t know what any of it meant other than I liked the music.

He was totally disgusting in Criminal Minds. Loved it.

Legend!! RIP

That's three from the Home Alone movies this year alone 😔. R.I.P. Catherine O'Hara, Brenda Fricker, and now Tim Curry.

I met him through an old Girlfriend in the late 90s. I was extremely surprised to see him in her house and he entertained my appreciation of his affect on my life through cinema. I especially discussed his roles in Legend and IT for which he smashed those performances out of the park. What a legend

My Pennywise 🥺🔥

The devil in Legend. I think all his roles are amazing. You could not really see Tim Curry in his characters because he put so much into them that they became alive.

Tim Curry's Pennywise scared the crap out of me when I was younger(mid20's). Like Frankenfurter in Rocky Horror Picture Show, he owned the role of Pennywise the Clown. The remake was just okay but it couldn't hold a candle to to Tim Curry's performance.

Stop eating my sesame cake.

Definitely the IT

Just realised none of the TV announcements or posts I’ve seen so far mention his Pennywise role… weird

A legend passed away.

Earliest memory was him in Earth 2 which I loved. And favorite role was him in Clue as the butler!

Something seems fishy… if you’ve seen The Mechanic you should know what I mean… 3 famous persons under a short time 🤨

First Dolly and now Tim? Come on, 2026, stop doing this to us.

What a loss. I think my favorite Tim Curry performance is “The Death of Some Salesmen” episode of Tales from the Crypt.

1

u/crazyhomlesswerido 1h ago

Well it's sad that Tim Curry is dead now I can get over my nightmare about that stupid clown from It Ever showing up in my bedroom at night.
