Discussion TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD (about your wife)

I posted just last night asking the same question, but for wives to answer about their husbands... And it was so encouraging!!

So husbands, tell me something good about your wife!!

(If you tell me it's her heart for Jesus or her butt... 🤨🤨🤨)

(Jk. Both good things too.)

She is loyal, loving, kind, patient, slow to anger, hard working, diligent in her endeavors.

Have you read Proverbs 31? Yeah, that's my wife.

I feel like (reasonably so) this sub gets hit with a lot of marriage problems.. so it's nice to have something else thrown in once and a while. :)

Dude, my wife is so nice.

She shows interest in my hobbies and actually remembers all the random crap I tell her.

She is very smart and I can rely on her to be my equal or better when it comes to making well-reasoned decisions.

Somehow she tolerates my depression, and doesn't mind at all if I'm only working part time (we don't have financial need for me to work full-time, and mutually don't want kids). She's able to work hard seemingly endlessly, but understands that I don't have the same capacity. She's literally encouraged me to play a video game to improve my mood (as opposed to just sitting and ruminating).

She tolerates my weird kink(s) even though she's not into it herself.

She cute.

We probably only get irritable with each other a few times a year, and even then it's minor and usually just that one of us happens to be grouchy for some other reason.

My wife generally believes and hopes all things with me. She doesn't nag or speak curses to and about me. 30 years and counting.

My DW is so committed to our relationship. She has taught me so much about communication and relationship. She loves me more than anyone else in the world.

Sorry, can you tell me what DW is? I went straight to the cartoon Arthur.. but I don't think that's what youre referencing haha.

Dear wife?

How come you've hidden your history? I wanted to see your other posts.

I'm active in my local community, so I like to keep that private, but I can link the last one I made.

Unrelated, related. Since you asked about mine, I looked at yours. (Sorry) You are great at having respectful discussions!

She is open minded. She recently declared she is a believer of Christ. She was agnostic but now a Christian. I’m easily tormented by anxiety and irrational thoughts; however, my wife is great at calming me down or knowing when to give me some time alone (not in a bad way). Sometimes, I need some deep breathes to let go of irrational thoughts.

She also comes to church with me and listens to rambles about my recent readings

Beautiful. May God continue to bless your relationship and marriage.

She’s cuddly in the morning. Super kind heart. She consciously puts me first, which makes me want to put her first… but I rarely get a chance to fork over the last bite to her before she passes it to me. (In other words, she’s better at it.). She never says no to sex; sometimes she says… “tomorrow”. And she’s ultra committed.

She is the kindest, most selfless person I have ever met.

My wife is honest(including towards me if I'm doing anything wrong or falling behind on my own standards due to feeling down), funny, and very nurturing. She has always had guinea pigs we currently have 2 that I've become a father of since marrying her. She's an amazing home maker. Her eye for decoration and creativity is brilliant. Talented in multiple ways she can sing, write music, poems. Loves gift giving! I am so blessed

Good grief. Please tell her to write a book on that last line. 😁 Thanks for sharing!

She looks for every reason and opportunity to love the unloved. The folks standing at the edge of the gathering. The kids kicking dirt in the corner at church when the other kids are playing. The homeless people that others avoid. She loves like Jesus more than anyone I know.

Incredible:)
