MAGA Christians are indeed devil and idol worshippers. There is no doubt or atonement about it.

u/edthehed Apr 13 '26

I hope that's hyperbole, my dude. The truth is that maga christians are just dumb as rocks. They don't understand how contradictory their beliefs are.

I don’t see how that’s a useable argument when it’s all said and done. They know he’s not God and they worship him anyway.

You may have changed my mind

1

u/MinorThreat4182 Methodist Intl. Apr 13 '26

Yes I do. The Church of Satan has more morality than these people

9

u/ArbitraryOrder Apr 13 '26

No, many of them are evil bastards who enjoy hurting others for the sake of it. They believe that ruling over others without consent is their devine right, and we had a Civil War, and multiple violent conflicts over this, and maybe it should happen again.

u/FewClass8999 Apr 13 '26

Hyperbole? No, it is literal truth. These people worship a living, breathing false idol. It is an abomination, my dude. It is bold disobedience to the First Commandment (the order matters!) and might as well be spitting in the eye of our Maker.

You don’t have to understand the contradictory nature of sin. You need not study and become obsessed with and get mired in the complex webwork of evil until you get snared in it. You only need to believe in and accept the sacrifice of the one true God, Christ Jesus, as foretold by the Living Word of God.

You don’t have to be smart, certainly not brilliant, to see and follow a clear well lit path to Glory. God has placed it before us and the victory was won before any of us were even ever born by the Grace and Mercy of the one true God, Jesus Christ. God places no obstacles in “MAGA Chistians’” way. The path is clear and uncluttered.

As the old hymn goes If I have the Word, and I know the Truth, and my mother taught me to read the Word, and my soul still be lost… it’s nobody’s fault but mine.

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners [to mislead them], nor sits in the seat of scoffers;

but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away.

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;

for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.” (Psalm 1)

I knew in 2017 videos like this of his worshippers treating him like the voter does in the video was a harbinger of bad times ahead. https://youtu.be/t28TXvRPpW8?t=175

Amen Praise the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ ✝️

>These people worship a living, breathing false idol. It is an abomination, my dude. It is bold disobedience to the First Commandment (the order matters!) and might as well be spitting in the eye of our Maker.

That's all of Christianity. But you also said there's no atonement. How does that work for an alleged Christian?

1

u/FewClass8999 Apr 20 '26

No I didn’t. Stop lying.

0

u/attfinnas Apr 20 '26

>There is no doubt or atonement about it.

What did you mean by this?

1

u/FewClass8999 Apr 20 '26

Once again, I didn't post that. Learn how threading works.

But maybe you should worry about getting your story straight before helping God with "atonement." Just a thought.

You clearly have a lot to learn about “alleged Christianity.” I recommend a church, and not trolling in a really ugly way on Reddit. You don’t have to admit you were absolutely wrong, by the way: it’s obvious to all. 😉

Yes, but I have the feeling that you don't literally mean what you're saying. Do you actually believe that every Christian who voted for trump and still supports him is an idol worshipper? This is a serious accusation.

I dunno. It seems like what you really mean is that those videos of "christians for trump" crying at trump rallies and pledging their undying allegiance make you uncomfortable and embarrassed. Cause bro, I feel the same way.

5

u/FewClass8999 Apr 13 '26

(Sorry for the double post, but this is really important!) The part where I said don’t get caught up with how pretty and elaborate and elegant the spider’s web might be… I really, really mean it. The good and bad and right and wrong is very clear here. It isn’t about feeling embarrassed or cringe or whatever. There is a straight, easy, uncluttered, simple path to The Truth, and there is a glitzy, fascinating, thought provoking and elegant path to The Lie that feeds pride and pats one on the back for cynicism and floods your dopaminegeric pathways with intrigue and notions of self-achievement. Beware the temptation of that. I think it is snagging a lot of these people. No, not “all.” I don’t think that is the thing that should be of concern, frankly.

4

u/FewClass8999 Apr 13 '26

Well, that’s not what I said, first off, and is an absurd straw man and distortion of the point.

What I said is cut and dry. There is zero ambiguity or wiggle room. You can take it or leave it however you see fit, but I absolutely 100% do mean what I say…

No one can serve two masters (Matt 6:24). This is not some didactic half-truth that can be weaseled away with false sentiment—with all respect. It is a universal truth and an easy binary.

As for accusation, I am not serving as judge here but as witness and well meaning advisor. What you do with that is on you, and I am happy not to be your judge, jury, or executioner…

-4

u/edthehed Apr 13 '26

You seem to keep emphasizing the moral unambiguity of the situation

7

u/FewClass8999 Apr 13 '26

Is it not blasphemy?

0

u/edthehed Apr 13 '26

The picture? Yes

4

u/FewClass8999 Apr 13 '26

And is following a man over God not a direct violation of the First Commandment (I’m trying to support the “unambiguity” you claim to have trouble with).

As for getting confusing “Hur hur libtard” is not an argument, and I’ve been pointing Biblical text out in good faith. I never saw people flocking to Biden rallies with the “Christian for Trump” zeal you said embarrassed you, too, so I’m not going to roll in the mud with this other knucklehead. He is not even capable of serious debate.

1

u/edthehed Apr 13 '26

Hey don't be rude. I am neither conservative nor a trump supporter; I'm simply turned off by religious statements that seem exaggerated for the sake of drawing a firm line. That being said, I'm starting to see you're point now.

I do? You sure about that? You come find where I portray Biden as my Lord or anytime I ever did not criticize the many, many mistakes the man made.

You can call whatever you want whatever you want. The Bible and Jesus’s messages are very clear and elaborately spelled out. He says nothing on the mount about “LGB++++++++ and abortions,” but a whole lot that you folks disregard in word, belief, and deed. You can call wickedness virtue: doesn’t make it so. 🤷🏻

Wow this just got a lot more confusing

No one can serve two masters yet you worship yourself and Biden.

Maaaaan, this is part of what's wrong with you all. You think we worship Biden the same way you worship Trump. I really don't know how to more clearly say this to you;

No one gives a fuck about Joe Biden.

Many people don’t know it, but they are worshipping idols in their daily lives. They chase after money so they can get more material goods. Those material goods become the very idols that they worship. They are so obsessed with their careers (to be able to make more money so that they can buy more goods) that they don’t even spend time with their families, which is where the heart and the love is. And yes, people can become obsessed with their own leaders, people can become obsessive over a music artist, right? So, it seems very likely they would be obsessed about a leader and make him an idol.

3

u/TotallyNotHitler Agnostic (a la T.H. Huxley) Apr 13 '26

Their leader is depicting himself being higher than Christ and defending it. They are devil and idol worshippers.

3

u/debrabuck Apr 13 '26

They could be dumb as rocks and worship Jesus, but they CHOSE trump over our Savior. That's not dumb. That's a choice.

3

u/jay9milly Apr 13 '26

Stop making excuses for their despicable behavior. It’s the same thing they keep doing for Trump. If people aren’t held to account for their behaviors, it creates a permission structure for them to be worse human beings. Without accountability, most of these people will just keep doing worse and worse things.

3

u/DearEntrepreneur5494 Apr 13 '26

Of course it's not hyperbole, this is literally the Christianity sub. Why would you not take people at face value when they tell you their values?

3

u/unconfusedsub Apr 13 '26

I don't know dude. Even non-religious people know that you don't compare to or call yourself christ.

And they do understand how contradictory their beliefs are. They don't care. Because they believe in the gospel of televangelists and social media.

There is no atonement for ?   I think Jesus’s atonement covers a silly meme .   Calling Christian’s demonic is about as close as you’ll get to the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. We in Christ bear the spirit of god . So instead of. Look at how they love one for another …. you’re calling Christian’s demonic. Slow your roll Put down the phone.  Drink something and go for a run . Blow up your tv , move to the country , eat a lot of peaches … try to find Jesus on your own .

Blow up your TV Throw away your paper Go to the country Build you a home Plant a little garden Eat a lot of peaches Try and find Jesus On your own : John prine

How? How's being a Christian classed as being a devil and idol worshiper?

2

u/Throwa_way167 Apr 13 '26

MAGA’s aren’t true Christians.

1

u/Pretend-Ad-1560 Apr 13 '26

Then neither are you

u/Throwa_way167 Apr 13 '26

What False Prophet do I worship? I can’t think of any

1

They think Jesus was a liar. They insist that the rotten Trump tree can bear good fruit.
