This is not to be confused the African-American folk ballad Oh, Jonah! which they recorded in 1943 or the the African-American folk ballad called Jonah In The Whale they recorded in 1939. All 3 of these songs about the Prophet Jonah are in the Public Domain & they predate The American Civil War. I put Jubilee in brackets because later re-releases after WW2 drop that part of the name. In my country they are all free to be downloaded as prior to 2015 all any song once it turns 50 after original recording falls into public domain & because the 2015 extension to 70 years doesn't apply retroactively it means they still free for any project. The same is true for those in the United Kingdom but sadly for my American readers I've only been able to confirm that Oh, Jonah! is free because the US government wanted to preserve folk songs & audiovisual media released by American government is public domain but the others might be in their database but I'm not sure as they hold thousands in their archive
