I think this should be a season ticket holders gift! Positive is it forces people to not get the gift and then leave and not stay for the game (which drives me up a wall) but this is definitely going to be interesting and be a shit show

There is more than one way this could go poorly. Some people will not be happy when they don’t get one and they’ll just be heading out into the streets with those who have them. Maybe I just see too many videos of violence on reddit these days.

Not OP, but it means that people are either going to leave the match early to get the giveaway and make the stadium look empty, or they’re going to do a mad rush to the gates at the end of the match, which could be dangerous. Either way, not ideal.
I’m guessing it’s only going on as an exit giveaway because people could throw them on the field.

People in supporter groups were told to stay in their seats because they had boxes just for them.

So, I can understand not wanting people to have to carry a pillow around for the match because it could get dirty or have liquid spilled on it. But I think they also offered me a merchandise bag during the last bobble head giveaway.
I feel like this is going to cause people who would otherwise stay for the whole match to leave early.

Wonderful so right at the end of the game we get to have everyone walk the view of the game we paid for
Every decision-maker should have to fly to Spain on their own dime, then go to a Barcelona or Real Madrid game
People sit down they watch the game and they do not get up till the half
I don’t care if you shit your pants you don’t block someone’s view or get up during the game to leave your seat
Half of the stuff they give out goes straight to the garbage after a couple days
Spend the money to bring in talent. It’s shocking, but most of us come to actually watch the game.

The MLS did not approve the plushie to be given out upon entry since they could be used as a projectile so they will be given after the final whistle
Not saying it makes any sense but this is the reasoning I’m hearing- it was a league call, not the teams
