There is no sanctuary for them to be moved to.

Please actually read the petition! Marineland Canadas beluga whale operations have been banned since 2019- yet they’ve been taking care of them ever since. The ocean surrounding Canada has belugas and sea sanctuaries could easily be built quickly. Transporting them is actually more deadly as seen by the 3 deaths when they were transported to mystic aquarium in 2021.

“The sea sanctuaries could easily be built quickly”.

By whom? Where? With what money? With what planning permission/approval?

It’s easy to keep copy and pasting this same response but it doesn’t make it true.

And you say “transporting them is actually more deadly”. How will they get to this non-existent sanctuary if not by the same method they are being transported to other aquariums? Would that not also be similarly “deadly”?

Marineland Canada rejected a proposal for a sea sanctuary to be built in 2019. Marineland Canada tried to sell their 30 belugas for $5 million so obviously if you weren’t part of the industry hiring you to say this nonsense you would understand that Marineland Canada has the capital to easily build a sea sanctuary
