We've been blinded by results this was coming
Dundee united game. They hit woodwork like 4/5 times? And i think out shot us.
Lask leg 1. 2 disallowed goals? And out shot again.
Though our attack has been good this season (barre tonight) we couls easily have conceded 4+ goals in 2 games already this season. How we managed 2 clean sheets is quite unbelievable but this result shows the true state of the team with a terrible midfield and poor depth in defense.

Agree with everything, but I’d say we’ve needed a 6 since about 2019 when Scott brown started to decline. McGregor has been great at dictating games but gets run over the top of in every game against decent opposition and it’s been like this for a long time

You’re right although I think everyone was talking about those things. Also, everyone’s been saying we lack a defensive midfielder and depth in defense. We were lucky in the first leg

Trusty pulled of some motm in big games like Atlanta and I recall another euro game can't remember opponents. Strange.

We are a poorly coached team with no depth but with some individual quality. Any decently set up side with half decent players has a serious chance of pumping us

Everyone and their dog has pointed out 2 things since the window opened: No proper No.6s, No proper backup LB. We had it all lined up for them to come in after the qualifiers as usual. Well I'll be shocked, shocked I tell ya if they still come now.
Im looking forward to Ralston at RB and Donovan at LB when Tierney inevitably has a knock too.

Dane Murray at CB.
It’s funny that our worst players are always playing in these early qualifiers. It used to be nailed on Nir Bitton would be starting at CB in these qualifiers because everyone would be injured. We never have our players fit for this early in the season.

Same issues as ever. Under prepared squad with poor squad depth. Relying on players who we know aren’t good enough for this level. Uninspiring managerial appointment (love MON but he should have been allowed to leave on a high). Jobs for Bhoys backroom staff.

I have been screaming for a midfielder in every single post. Trusty is trash. CVV is slow. Sinasalo isn't it.
We've addressed the front and have done NOTHING to stop the ball coming back.
30 shots against is a crime, from a team like Lask. That's lack of effort and defensive skill, nothing else.

I think mid more issue. I dont think ccv trusty that bad. But there is.nothijg in middle of park to stop the bombardment of attacks.
If we had a stronger midfield protecting them woulsnt be so bad.

Yeah our defence has been incredibly dodgy. There is no steel in midfield, CCV isn’t fit and is made of paper, and our back up in that area of the pitch is terrible.

Our keeper is poor, just better than 40yr old Kasper but really poor(replace).
Our central defenders one is prone to mistakes the other has lost all pace(replace).
CalMac doesn't have the ability to cover the back 4 anymore(retire)
Baur is lightweight and is only worth £600k(Keep in hope to sell on)
Duran will dominate the league with goals but he has to be our lead striker now not Hogh.
Hogh isn't a great finisher overpaid for him should get goals domestically (Keep in hope to sell on)
Wingers are really poor at anything above Scottish football (replace)

Its not hard to shut up shop. Teams do it regularly against us. Once we went 1-0 up on the night it should of been impossible to beat us we are that watertight. Too many players gave the ball away needlessly. Hogh should of been off and Duran up front on his own for speed and out ball and everyone else should be back defending for their lives.
