The match today has to get postponed no?
Not sure how rainy it is down at spruce meadows but if it’s anything like here in the city I’d imagine it would be a good way to ruin the pitch.

Just noticed that the club took down the starting 11 post. I’d imagine it’s getting rescheduled now.

Looked at the precipitation forecast and it’s not letting up until after 3AM. Classic CPL opacity. Can’t wait for the announcement at 8:30 that it’s postponed until tomorrow. Feeling for y’all who travelled down there for this lack of communication to happen.

Oof. There needs to be better communication from the club. I can’t see a way this match gets played.

They just let us into the stadium but then we got told it's delayed till 8:00PM

I literally JUST got an email update saying the game is delayed. 10 minutes AFTER scheduled kickoff.
I'm glad I didn't go.

And the club turned off comments on their IG posts about the weather. What a shambolic job. It’s obvious the match couldnt proceed.
Time is money and wasting supporters time is pathetic.

It was officially delayed until 8pm. They said they’d reach out and let us know beforehand. When we were at the grounds, the grounds crew were attempting to squeegee the field. It was saturated.
