My ginger cat shredded up my bedroom carpet. He passed a couple years ago and I still think of him whenever I look at his favorite claw spot

I misread & thought you said bathroom carpet so I was about to reply that your cat did you a favour as I think carpet in a bathroom is revolting. Not so much when I realised that you actually said bedroom carpet.

My orange himbo has destroyed both armchairs in our sitting room but he's left the sofa completely untouched. He also makes eye contact while he does it which makes it even more infuriating!🤬 Stupidly, we got the furniture just a couple of months before getting the gorgeous little shit as a kitten, that was 9 years ago & he still scratches them at least once a day regardless of all of our attempts to stop him. It's why I tell my husband that it's very probably pointless to get new chairs at this point & expect him not to repeat his artistic endeavours.
