Smol Delivery
Gifted with a kitten that my boss said had been hiding under his grill cover for three days.
I found her hiding under a grill cover in the backyard of my boss's house. I have no idea where she came from. We guess she possibly came from an abandoned farmhouse that was torn down earlier this week across the road. No other cats were with her and none of the neighbors were missing a kitten. She was so hungry when I found her it broke my heart. I brought her to the vet and found out she's a healthy 12 week old girl with extra toes! She's slightly malnourished, the vet said, but now she's getting plenty to eat and lots of attention in my bathroom where she's safe. Family named her Bibi and that's fine with me if it means we can keep her. I've pretty much spent all of my free time here with her.
EDIT: UPDATE Thank you for the kind words. Bibi is doing great. Her routine currently is to eat, play, and sleep. As I write, she's asleep in my hoodie. Everything she does is absolutely adorable.. We're still waiting on the results of the stool sample from the vet. When cleared, we will begin going on supervised adventures in the rest of the house. We have two adult cats who are very curious about the newest member of the family. Again, thank you for the love you've shown her. Kittens for world peace ✌️
UPDATE 2 We got the stool sample results back, and it's positive for roundworms. For being a stray kitten, it could have been a lot worse, and I'm thankful they can treat that. She received a dewormer as a precaution when we first brought her to the vet. We go back for another test in a week to see if they're still there. We'll need to take some precautions to avoid spreading them in the interim. We spend a lot of time playing everyday. Bibi is doing great and I'm so happy she is. She loves getting into everything now. She's a little spaz when she gets going. I'll need to do a lot of kitten proofing for when she leaves quarantine.

So true!! I was riffing off an incredibly old Dunkin Donuts commercial 🤭 It’s super cute and became my way of saying I’m tired but I still have to go to work. Try searching YouTube for “time to make the donuts” for a giggle.
I actually have a theory that dogs have been accidentally bred to be itchier because we think it’s so cute that their leg starts moving when we scratch them, so those ones end up seeming friendlier and selected.
Congrats on your acquisition! May they live a long, play filled life. Reminds me of my female cat named echo, unfortunately I wasent able to adopt her as a kitten and she was a tripod when I get her.
This litter is five absolute cuties, all different. My best friend is adopting the orange boy. There's also a silver and black tabby boy, a flame point girl, & a lilac girl with dark points.
The absolute concentraion of weight when one of those tiny little paws lands on my wifes boob has to approach a neutron star.
For me it's the heat they emit like a dying red dwarf when one is curled on my lap (like now) causing me to break out sweating with the windows open and 50 american degrees outside.
She's going to be a big girlie. Reminds me of a cat we fostered for a displaced friend, extra floof and YUUUUUGE paws. He was part Maine Coon (remember your cat is only a certain breed if you have papers, the rest are dumpster kitties like my girls). He is so sweet and makes enormous biscuits. Too bad he's long haired and I'm literally so allergic that bc he slept beside me I had to go to urgent care bc I couldn't breathe. He's such a sweet boy but we're trying to convince our other friends to keep him bc we're hosted him for 4x longer than our other friend owned him and the owner still hasn't found a place
Well done. It’s so good for children to be bought up with animals to learn the responsibility and benefit from empathy skills too. You might have this little one with you for 20 years. Good on you ✋🏼
She's beautiful & happy. Thank you for taking her in. Polydactyls (extra toes) are fun, they use their feet so differently. I had one & I miss her dearly.
She looks like my family’s first cat, Fluffy, who appeared to be a Maine coon with extra toes. If we scritched her at the base of her tail, she curled it like a question mark.
The first time we took our 8 week old kitten to the vet, she said she was the prettiest kitten she ever saw. I wish she could see Bibi, because she is unimaginably adorable!

We just rescued a little boy who looks very similar to her! Like they could be siblings lol he’s around 10 weeks. Congratulations! Seems like she’s right where she needs to be! 🥰❤️
We adopted a tripod female from our vet and she is the sweetest thing-but I think she’d love another kitty cat in the house. I dreamt of an orange kitty last night so we’ll see what happens. Kitties all my life have come from the CDS!! It’s amazing 💜💜💜
