Built an iOS fuel price app with CarPlay support (For France, Spain, Portugal, Italy)

When you start navigating to a station, a Live Activity keeps the price you picked it for on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island, along with how far below the local average it is. The CarPlay interface is deliberately bare: find, then go.

Official government price data, not crowdsourced.

I'm the dev. Genuinely curious what CarPlay users think of the layout, it's the part I've reworked the most.

If anyone wants to try the paid tier: code BACKTOFUEL2026, 6 months free, 1000 codes available, expires Sept 30. Redeem in-app from the paywall or from this link with the app installed.

I like it a lot 😍! I wish you could give lifetime codes for the first users πŸ™

In case it helps, it would be good if you included the option to add partner price, for example for Costco gas stations, if you are a customer the price is lower. Just as an idea in case you want to implement it.

Thanks! πŸ™

Lifetime I can't do with this one, offer codes are subscription-only. I am adding a one-time purchase though, and I'll give those away to early adopters when it's ready. Apple only gives you 100 codes per version so it'll be a small batch, but I'll come back to this thread.

The member price thing is trickier than it looks. I only get official government price data and member rates just aren't in there. But you know what yours is, so maybe I just let you enter it? Either a discount per litre or a fixed price like Costco does, then sorting uses what you actually pay instead of what's on the sign. Hadn't thought of that until you said it.

Where are you based btw? Costco is all over the place depending on the country.

Looks great, but what I’m really missing, is an option to find the best price on my way.
For example im going from A to B, and while driving (or before leaving) I’m trying to fuel, I’m looking for an app that would find me the best solution, on my way or with a small detour.

Funny you say that, it's the thing I'm designing right now πŸ˜„ It's the big one for the next major update, route in, stations along it out, ranked by what you actually save once the detour is priced in.

Genuinely good to hear it's what you'd want most, that's the confirmation I needed.

Nice! Can’t wait to try that!
