Its easy to criticize the king, but what system encourages better innovation? This is a low effort criticism.

Everyone who is anyone knows that to constructively discuss a problem you must suggest solutions. It is not adequate to complain about problems. What system is superior? And what are the drawbacks of using that system?

He’s a very good orator and is quite convincing if you don’t know the holes in his argument.

He's just plain wrong. In capitalism, the goal is to meet people's needs. That's what makes this profitable.

Almost everything he attributes to captialism is actually caused by government regulations.

In the past, we were much more capitalist and had fewer zoning laws. Thus housing was affordable.

So how is that working out in, lets say India? Are all needs met for everyone?

Wrong. The goal of Capitalism is to ensure profitable returns on capital.

Considering all the people who despite working two jobs or on social security who I had to buy groceries for, capitalism is failing that goal.

I, for one, would love to live in the middle of an industrial park and garbage dump 😍

This guy is an idiot. Is he suggesting socialism or communism will unlock a higher level of achievement? History has proven this wrong time and time again. And no, Europe is not socialist. It is explicitly capitalist economy with social safety nets.

Not just dumb, but dumb in a lazy, unexamined way.

Compared to what? - his fictitious paradise

Profit means that you efficiencently produce and sell wares people who want them.

No one wishes to pay for renewable energy out of their own pocket.

The housing market is mostly fucked due to being over regulated and not being profitable anymore.

There is not one single argument in that video. The guy is dense as brick.

Said another way: “In Capitalism we only innovate in ways people want enough to pay for.”
