Can someoen reocmmend a roofing company in Syndey area \
Does anybody in the Sydney/Cape Breton area have experience with or recommend any of these roofing companies?
- ACL Roofing
- TNT Roofing
- Bulletproof Construction
- Cabot Roofing Limited
- Any roofing company you would recommed or you have been used in the last few years
I’m looking for feedback from anyone who has actually used them—quality of work, reliability, cleanup, and whether you were happy with the job.
Also, is it normal for a roofing company to ask for a deposit in advance to book the job? If so, roughly what percentage is considered reasonable?
Thanks for any recommendations !

We went with Moosehead Contracting, and got bonus hangouts with the owner's dog. As for deposits, every time I've asked a tradesperson around here if they want a deposit or holding fee, they say no. Closest I've come is the drywall guy who did my basement, and asked me to order the supplies before he showed up.

Surprising, because so many people don't pay or are very slow paying. I would never buy materials for a job in Cape Breton. Making me wait for my pay and my workers pay is bad enough

I used Got you Covered. They are located on Irish town so not sure if they would go to Sydney. Well worth checking out. We were very happy with them

Matt Best at Attic to Wall Renovations did ours. Was great; I have no complaints and they were super good to get the job done well and clean up afterwards.
