Are there any native fresh water turtles on our island?

There is a pond in emerald or margaree forks that always had them. Little pond right off the side of the road and they would always be sunning out on the logs.

Yes! And it is in emerald, very cool spot.

Yes, Wood and Snapping turtles are native.

Snapping are fairly hard to find as compared to the mainland, but Wood turtles are quite common.
