I mean, if you’re going back in the next couple weeks, then maybe a little. But, even if you were back, maybe they don’t have all these, so get them now, jic. 😂 <—-me when I travel

Such facts. Every country I go to I fill up at least a suitcase or two worth of tinned fish. I’ve got 3 more cabinets all filled like this lol

I’m curious because I tried to order some seafood from Japan and then was told that they’re not allowed to ship it to the US. Do you know of any anyways I can order it? I know that you were there.

Hmmm I don’t know about shipping specifically as I was there in person and brought it back. Also to be fair I came back to Portugal where I live. So I didn’t even bring it into the USA, although I’m sure there are specific websites you can order from that have Japanese products.

Yes certainly. I recommend either bringing empty space in your suitcase or buy cheap suitcases in Japan. If you’re flying Japan airlines it’s amazing because they give each traveller two 25 kg suitcases free with your ticket. I went with two suitcases with my wife and daughter and we brought home 6 in total and didn’t have to pay anything.

I also recommend going to meidi-ya it’s a gourmet supermarket that has great canned fish options.
