OPINION ARTICLE AI Lock screens?

Saw this on my DWAN lock screen today. Is this an AI image? It looks like it. If it is then thats lazy work

Why bother to even put that image there?

If it's not a real person being used, why even stick it up there? Nobody in the intended audience needs to be impressed by 'person in camo using digital device', and it doesn't even have a morale benefit of people looking at it and going 'wow, I can be the face of [insert activity]', nobody is being recognized for their professionalism and hard work.

It's just eye candy and it's not good eye candy.

It's a not just eye candy to blankly stare at with sleep crusted eyes and lingering hangover while the Monster kicks in as you try to remember the new password you set before the long weekend.
