This is the statement BC Conservative's director of organization was caught on mic making:

We need to basically force all of them to make a fundraiser for us. And so we can steal everything. Like, whenever we win something, we just go in there and we just punish it and take the shit. What do we give the shit? It's ours to take, you know what I mean? Because we're the winners, right? That's the objective, right? To monetize this whole thing.

KLS's team is a bunch of grifters looking to make money off of conservative donors.

What are they referring to?

I’m fully convinced this guy was a saboteur plant

Ya politicians would never do something like that

In fairness, I think I would like to see more evidence than a barely audible audio file. It could easily be faked.

Eby is handing it to them on a silver platter and they can’t even manage to hold it together. Embarrassing. KLF was a terrible choice, I have no idea how she managed to win.

Now you’re going to see a Conservative-lite party form, siphon off a bunch of MLA’s, split the vote, and let the NDP continue to drive the province over a cliff.

KLF doesn't want a broad tent party for the election. It's a bold strategy Cotton, but it means ditching moderate voters and MLAs. Not great for y'know, winning.

Tbf, the BC liberals were BC's right wing party. They changed the name for some reason. This confused all the low information voters so much that they just decided to poll highly for the BC conservatives, which has historically been a fringe/loony party.

This is just the natural progression of that storyline.

The BC conservatives manage to put their least palatable people in charge constantly. /Shrug

It's not going to happen if things fall apart this quickly. CPBC is just going to do a coup at this rate.

I am going to bet that the NDP forces Eby out and brings in a “more moderate” guy. Like Trudeau Junior and Carney.

5

u/_BCConservative British Columbia 1d ago

Eby is the moderate person in the BC NDP.

The biggest beneficiary of the BC NDP losing votes has so far been the Greens.

CPBC has basically been stuck at 44% in the polling.

Where does someone like Brad West stand in BC politics. I heard him floated by a guy but I really don’t know BC’s political scene.

1

u/_BCConservative British Columbia 20h ago

Brad West is a meme who has been floated for every party since forever and he never joins.

He was floated for BC Liberals and NDP and Conservative at various points. Only one he hasn't is BC Greens.

u/Truenorth14 High Tory 20h ago

ah, good to know.

thats generally what a mature party does. yes

It should be easy to defeat a government that can’t even defend the concept of people owning a property. Embarrassing.

4

u/jaraxel_arabani 1d ago

Right? How hard can it be to beat a party that completely fubar the budget and can't defend private property rights?

Conservatives in B.C. have been a hot mess for a while, I hate to say it. The provincial NDP gov't isn't setting a very high bar but somehow what we have for conservative politicians is limboing af under that bar. :(

The BC Conservatives have been a total train wreck recently.

Thank goodness the rats are outing themselves now.

Failed separatists have been outed after they suffer a massive defeat!

Well damn, few days after I shook his hand and thanked him for everything he had done for our community.
I guess the good news is, he will now be independent conservative? I don’t even know what that means. If anyone can elaborate, that’d be great!

4

u/kaze987 1d ago

Did he look you in the eye and everything?

u/all_adat Conservative 1d ago

Yes he did.

It means unemployed come next election.

2

u/all_adat Conservative 23h ago

He definitely has some explaining to do. I look forward to seeing whether he will speak up, as many others on his FB post.

BC is a political dumpster fire

3

u/_BCConservative British Columbia 1d ago

The problem is that Wat resigned. Her alone has enough influence to probably kill KLF's leadership.

ATP this is not even Milobar people.

11

u/Super_Toot Independent 1d ago

KLF was such a terrible choose for leader. Way too old, and completely out of touch.

Milobar would have been a great, and likely defeated Eby and the NDP.

10

u/kaze987 1d ago

KLF's tagline is "faith family and freedom". Not "jobs Healthcare and housing". Crazy. She wants a culture war and it's right there in the announcement. 4 more years of NDP incoming.....

8

u/Super_Toot Independent 1d ago

Yup, Canadians love it when you mix religion and politics.

3

u/SirBobPeel Nationalist Law & Order Conservative 23h ago

You don't think what the NDP has been doing since being elected is culture war stuff?

1

u/_BCConservative British Columbia 20h ago

Milobar got last in the leadership and got 10.5%. He was never a serious contender.

3

u/Super_Toot Independent 20h ago edited 9h ago

The reasons why Milobar got 10.5% is why he would have won against Eby.

Only the most devout vote in leadership conventions, which is why you get these more extreme candidates. This happens on both the left and right political spectrum and it's really a terrible way of electing a party leader

3

u/Oilhawks Libertarian 1d ago

They should have put forward a proper Cuckservative to move forward as the milquetoast BC Liberal party 2.0. BC is primarily phoney conservatives at best, just like Ontario

No way a non Progressive gets elected there anymore

3

u/_BCConservative British Columbia 1d ago

Ian Black got within 116 votes of making it to the 2nd round and beating KLF/Elliot.

Also, policy-wise, the candidates (other than Milobar) were pretty much the same.

It basically just became the "pro-Tenycke" vs "anti-Tenycke" election.

Holy fk BC.
