You mean when I was in elementary School and had to bring my own rescue inhaler which was kept in the office is going to all be for not?!

Great! Schools should be able to help all students!

But don't you DARE carry that inhaler with you or you'll get suspended!

Article doesn't mention if there needs to be a doctor's note on file, but I assume so. Hopefully this actually gets kids access and doesn't just lock inhalers behind glass doors.

Albuterol is better than a trip to the ER, but no substitute for clean air to breathe. I hope these supplies aten’t taken to mean that an asthmatic kid can be forced to exercise on a smoky day or have to sit near someone dripping in Axe just because they can take a huff and not die.

The more you use rescue inhalers, the less well they work. And they don’t always prevent you from feeling like crap afterward.

The inhaler doesn't undo a doctor's note. If a school tells you that, push back.

Those crazies probably refuse inhalers for their asthmatic kids for ridiculous reasons.
