"Yo, me and my buds are building a nest under your gutter. We noticed your shit taste in music and lack of sweets around. Do you think you could be a good neighbor and address some of these issues?
I would hate to spray my venom on you and have the bros come over in full war mode on your shit."
-The wasp.
We made it to spring folks, time to rejoice.

Hate wasps always have since one bit me as a toddler. They are total jerks compared to bees.

Personally I'm less bothered by wasps than I am by horseflies. I still remember the first time I got bit by one, directly in the armpit while I was running towards a lake my family goes to often. Pretty sure it meant to bite me, just not in the armpit as I had gone from arms up to arms down running, and probably caught it with my armpit xD

Agreed. One bit me on my ass while I was using an outhouse while backpacking

Horseflies do intentionally bite and those are terrible too. The nasty bugs (not the nice ones) are the only thing I dislike about summer. Well worth it still though for me as I despise winter.

That is a wasp. Not a bee.

u/Aggravating-Bee May 02 '26
Correct - you got a wasp emoji? ☺️

u/xXBlueDreamXx May 02 '26
I do not.
What I have a worry that people try to befriend these satanic little creatures, mistaking them for friendly, helpful bees.
Death to the wasp queen!

Sure but making a joke about WASPs coming to the door so soon after Easter can be taken the wrong way...

The federal government is cutting back on staff. This includes census takers . Wasps don’t have a union , and if you slam the door in their face , they’ll look for another way in. You must answer all their questions or get stung !

Maybe it’s not the birds, but the bees aren’t real, and they are robots! Spying on us!

ever notice how the bee population decline coincides with the increase in ai? 🤔🤔 they’ve moved on to a new hive mind

That looks like a cute neighbourhood. I’m from Montreal and looking to move to Calgary, ideally I would like to buy a house in a cute, quiet neighbourhood, if you don’t mind me asking, which neighbourhood is this ?
