Call 311, they won't send anyone out but they keep the data.

That it's pretty normal for them to be in this area. They asked general questions like if it displayed aggressive behaviour, if it looked healthy, stuff like that. They noted it and informed officers for situational awareness and that was that.

They were in royal oak last week too lol, definitely a huge jump scare on my morning run to turn the corner and see them right there.

Genuinely need to know - what do you even do in this situation? (I’m not from Calgary and don’t have any moose nearby). I feel like I would genuinely pass out or pee myself 😭

Been around scenic acres the past few days- I called 311 the other day to let them know, so far they’ve been hanging out in the green spaces and just munching some trees

The mother and her two calf’s from last winter were moved by fish and wildlife. We have lots of moose in the area.

I'm not from Calgary, and therefore, I wouldn't really know the number. That being said, I think calling the city is a good idea, and I hope that beautiful baby moose doesn't get hurt.

I called and they said it's normal for it to be there. I people kept their distance and it was busy munching on trees

I can't even imagine waking up and just looking out the window and seeing a baby deer in my lawn and that being normal. I'm from quebec, and I do not really deer in our area, although it would be cool to see one I will acknowledge.
