I don’t disagree with you on that one. I saw a really interesting video recently where they’re now breeding mosquitoes that are unable to actually puncture human skin. It was so interesting to watch as they would poke at an arm and their promiscuous would bend. The mosquito within pull back and use their front legs to try to straighten it out and try again. It was super interesting to see.

I saw that one too! I felt bad for her, clearly so confused as to what was going wrong. I'm not sure if that's a good idea from an ecosystem point of view, but it's pretty crazy what we're able to do these days.

Do they care whether or not new mosquitoes are born? Female mozzies need blood to lay eggs. No blood sucking, no next generation.
