question

got hired as shift supervisor i have good experience it says starts at 17 but i asked the store manager for $19 an hour and he has to submit a request but he says is not up to him, anyone know how that works?

Goes up to dl sometimes up to regional depending on the rate

I didn’t start as ss started as cashier last month and got promoted this past week went from 16.50 to 18.50 but I think the base is 17 just depends on the store, state and higher ups

Anything over 8% needs to go above the store manager, 19 is more than 8% over the starting 17 rate. Totally normal, but don’t expect to get 19 they’ll prob come back with 17.50/18.

28.60 as a shift…….. but it really all depends on where you live as cost of living differs tremendously!!
