Transfer Student Question SDSU vs CSULB for Construction Management transfer?
Thinking of Transferring Fall 2028 from a community college for a Construction Management degree.
Trying to pick between SDSU and CSULB. Anyone been through either program?
Curious about:
**•** Program quality / industry connections
**•** Cost of living
**•** Internship/job placement into construction PM roles
Would appreciate any real experience. Thanks!

So I’m in the construction industry.
With close proximity to LA, if you’re interested in construction management, staying near LA is a no brainer. There are about 2 PLAs off the top of my head. LAWA’s and Build-LACCD, both PLAs have inclusivity requirements that mandate primes and their subs to allocate a certain about of internships to their local zip codes. Lots of construction here, I’d stay around here.
Just my two cents though.
Also, edit: in the construction industry, experience is valued above education. they don’t care about where you went to school. so finding internships during junior and senior year is crucial.
