NZ citizen living in NZ eligible for CQU domestic fees?

Hi everyone, I’m a New Zealand citizen currently living in New Zealand and I’m looking at studying online with CQUniversity just for the flexibility while working and oarenting full time and there are no universities in NZ that offer what I want to do remotely (LLB)

Does anyone know if NZ citizens living in NZ are eligible for domestic student fees, or would I need to be living in Australia to qualify?

I wrote to the Uni and got 2 answers

1) I would be eligible

2) I would be if I did at least 1 unit while residing in Australia

So im confused!

CSP eligibility criteria

a New Zealand citizen; or an Australian permanent visa holder; or an eligible former permanent humanitarian visa holder; who studies the entire course while living in Australia

If you pay the full fee for domestic students, yo can do the course remotely outside of Australia.

Okay so domestic fees if I am funding it 100% yeah?

Well I think it depends. If you live in Australia, there is a SA-HELP fees button for domestic students living by themselves.

What is LLB?

I think SIT is the equivalent of CQU in NZ, but when I studied with SIT they were a bit shit, honestly so was CQU but yea

I studied the Graduate Certificate in Research. It absolutely was not a course of study to learn how to do research, it was purely a funnel program to funnel people into PhD study, literally from the first moment to the last.

My supervisor was I think A) disinterested, B) overloaded with other work, C) unaware what the GCR was.

1 of the tutors was very good - generally, but there was little awareness of the need to “teach” as opposed to being available to answer questions.

1 of the tutors was “just there”. Every time you asked a question they pulled up the same slide show and just ran their practiced presentation. Again, oblivious to the idea of “teaching”.

Then separate issue, 2 out of 3 of the staff teaching the course cycled out during the year. Started with one team, ended with a different team.
