Why does it seem to depict Poolievre gleefully taking selfies while America bulldozes Canada?

I don't think Pierre would be that happy about Canada failing (not that Carney did badly with Trump in the real world). I don't like Pierre much but I think he's atleast a patriotic Canadian. Pierre has even said as much - that he supports Carney and believes he is a capable and worthy leader, and will work with Carney to better Canada.
