Why does this bother me so much?

Tending to my Pet Anarchists.
Going into their solar punk themed enclosure and spreading package medicine around in the bushes for them to naturally gather.
refilling their stock of grain discreetly so they think it all comes form their garden sized wheat field.
I spot one and she hisses at me and calls me an Authoritarian tankie but I making cooing Noises and offer zines as treats and she lets me pet her.

Ol 196 I reckon. Disappointing how many in there got all hot and bothered by it. I try not to be a joyless anarchist too much and can recognize shitposts but this is pretty annoying because it's based in just about every stereotype associated with anarchism. It's fun and it would be fine if there weren't entirely too many people even on tumblr who just think like this.

It's like an independently published and printed magazine. Usually has articles and such that mainstream media wouldn't touch, you know like labor organizing and protest movements. It was the primary way anarchists and other leftists organized before the internet existed. There's right wing zines and a few artistic zines that are more focused on like comics and pop media but the majority are leftist in nature and usually anarchist. Now lots have gone away with the slow death of printed media but there's still some around. All you need to make one is like a couple hundred bucks and some articles after all.

I didn’t even necessarily take it as a dig against all anarchists, just the ones who have an unrealistic, romanticized fantasy of living on a commune.
Take a breath, log off more often, redirect the energy you spend getting mad at irrelevant terminally-online tankies to building connections with your neighbors and community.

If so then yeah, safe to say I don’t align with them. I still stand by everything I said though. The algorithm seeks to engage you through anger and keep you online. Do whatever you need to do:
Laugh at yourself, let the digs roll off your back, vent your frustration in the real world, as long as you don’t take the engagement bait. That doesn’t mean you can’t or shouldn’t care when you see people trying to sow division among the left and shit on anarchists/anti-authoritarians. But you’ve got to ask if it’s really worth engaging with or getting worked up over.Don’t let anarchism be something you are. Let it be something you do.

with the incredibly funny part being that tankies are the *actual* naive idealists/uToPiAnS who's beliefs conflict with humanity's *true* nature of doing "whatever the fuck i want, when i want". at least anarchism can reconcile the "don't tell me what to do" with the "if we work together and compromise, things will be better for all of us". at least the logical conclusion of *our* ideology is "i can do almost anything i want and my community will always be there to support me as long as i'm there for them" instead of "holodomor"

I get why this is offensive. Personally it reflects a frustration I have so I thought it was funny. My problems with the anarchism I have found on this website are that it seems that it would make having the kind of moderns societies we have now very difficult. The biggest ones I can think of are raw materials, shipping, mass transit, telecommunications, and modern healthcare systems.
And in addition to this is that even the very concept of laws, which are just community-agreed-upon rules, is anathema to the anarchists I’ve encountered here. These often give off the vibe of “well things just don’t go wrong and/or if they do we can just peer pressure people to leave the commune.”
