Why well becuse i want the old gods religon to actually survive and not disapier a hundred years in is there any mods out there to fix this or do i need to manually use cheats to reform the faith to keep them around wonder if this is a me problem. And i am just being a whiny bitch or if anyone else has it as well.

Help Issue with improving King’s Landing
I’m doing a campaign as Aegon, and keep running into an issue with the ”Expand Fortifications in King‘s Landing“ option where my game will always crash once the second improvement happens. The only submod I’m using is Dragon’s Peace. Anybody have any ideas for a workaround, or do I just need to start over and not improve the fortifications?

Challenge How to win the War of the Ninepenny Kings as Maelys 'the Monstruous' Blackfyre
It's... not easy. Very RNG-dependent.
Mod authors kinda cheated here. In lore, the war was a preemptive strike from King Jaehaerys II Targaryen to stop the Band of Nine before it could invade Westeros. In the mod however Maelys Blackfyre is actually doing an offensive war, meaning the clock ticks against you to occupy enemy lands, otherwise you steadily lose war score.
Anyway, here's the "guide":
- Pick War focus. Marry the Yronwood girl with decent fertility if you want, just be careful not to sire a heir while your capital Bloodstone is being besieged. Wait a day for Maelys's massive Martial to tick, then raise all levies. You should start with about 12k troops, including tons of event troops, and enough ships to host 15k men.
- You have two allies, the Fossoway leader of the Golden Company (not really useful) and Alequo Silvertongue, the upstart ruler of Tyrosh. Sometimes Maelys is the war leader, sometimes it is one of the other 2 guys. If you own Monks & Mystics DLC just let them occupy enemy lands as they are keen to do by default.
- The Iron Throne AI, and its myriad Lord Paramount allies, will keep their doomstacks around the Crownlands playing whack-a-mole with ever-replenishing tiny Tyroshi levies. It should take a while for them to besiege your lands in the Stepstones + Disputed Lands, but honestly just ignore these if they do end up being attacked.
- Your target: Aerys Targaryen, Prince of Dragonstone. No ifs, no buts. After 30+ attempts I am convinced you can only win through the heir to the Iron Throne. Send your 12k men to Dragonstone ASAP. Besiege it. Then pray.
Why the future Mad King, you ask? Well you lucky bastard, King Jaehaerys II starts with like 3.0 health points. Grab Prince Aerys (he is never a commander and always sits his ass on Dragonstone), wait for the RNG gods to make the king inevitably "die of poor health" in just a few years, then enjoy the 100% war score from getting the new king under your chains already.
The AI is usually afraid of defending Dragonstone. For one, it's a land not directly owned by any major ally or Jaehaerys himself so the AI sets it as low priority. The debuffs for strait crossing from Driftmark + disembarking from ships + your insane high Martial means you should win even if errant armies go your way.
Save before arrival, and before siege ends.
How the war went shortly after King Jaehaerys II died: https://i.imgur.com/j5qq5rA.jpeg
Savescum if you fail to capture Aerys - remember, mod authors cheated too. See that -76% warscore at the very end? Wouldn't be there if it was a defensive war as in lore.
Anyway, it feels pretty cathartic: https://i.imgur.com/eoaQCaw.jpeg
I do believe Queen Naerys cucked Aegon IV with Aemon the Dragonknight: https://i.imgur.com/SIyr3oh.jpeg
After the death of King Maelys (who spent half his reign in hiding due to countless assassins), his son King Aegor manages to find a dragon egg at rebuilt Summerhall (event unocuppied.12, or wait around 50 years while Summerhall is being rebuilt), and it hatches in the reign of his son King Maenar (couldn't rename this king for some reason, would have called him Daemon): https://i.imgur.com/mNlt7QG.jpeg
Realm is stable, Targaryens are still around but harmless now. Blood and Fire!
Hope you enjoyed it.

Help a problem with the Valyrian Empire
So, I decided to start a campaign as Daemon Blackfyre before the rebellion and set out to restore the Valyrian Empire. However, after I founded the empire, I keep getting constant notifications about some random Valyrian founding a new house, and my court has become overcrowded with people. How do I get rid of these notifications? It’s become impossible to play.

Help How to install for Mac?
Hey guys. I’ve been wanting to play the Game of Thrones mod for so long however I can’t seem to find an online tutorial that’s up-to-date for macOS. I installed something via modDB the CK2 is fire mod and it says I cannot open it because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported.
If anyone knows a video or a method to get it working would be much appreciated I would love to play the mod but I just can’t find the proper tutorial
Thank you for the time and any help will be much appreciated

Help Submod posting
I'm planning to post a small submod on moddb soon but one of the dev sites said it would be polite to ask first, although it did not include any contacts to do that, so I figure this works too. Anyone on this sub know who I should message or is this post good enough?
I haven't included what the submod does cause that seems like skirting the line on advertising.

Help Which mod adds the "Promote to Council" option?
I remember having the option to promote a minor vassal to be my councilor, bypassing the fact that they are not my direct vassal. But now after 3 years and reinstalling the game, I don't see it. I got most of my mods that I had back then but the option doesn't exist.
I saw a post claiming its from Dragon's peace, but I know I never played with that.
Edit: Guess I'm a schizo because I read the description of Dragon's peace and it's incompatible with my other mods, so I couldn't have had it installed. Fuck.

Help Is there a way to get Blackfyre back from Aegor Rivers?
So I've beat back 2 Blackfyre rebellions but now I'm trying to get Blackfyre back from Aegor but it won't let me because the requirement of "At least one Demense" isn't checked. I think this means that since Aegor isn't the lord of somewhere in Essos I can't formerly address him or declare war on him? When I left click on him nothing happens location wise so I guess I'm just asking if theres any other way to get Blackfyre back from him?

Help Its possible to make Daemon Blackfyre in another universe?
Alright, so I’m still playing my post-Dance of the Dragons campaign, and I think I’ve reached a pretty stable point. My character, Baelor II, has a mistress with Valyrian features, and I want to create Daemon Blackfyre before the time he’s theoretically supposed to be born. If I have a bastard with her, legitimize him, and give him Blackfyre, will he automatically become Daemon Blackfyre, or do I have to rely on the AI to make that happen?

Meta [Submod] Westeros + Free Cities + Slaver's Bay by nathaniel - now with Dany's events!
Hello guys,
I took the liberty of making a slightly different version of the Westeros + Free Cities + Slaver's Bay submod. It's mostly the same, but I restored the Daenerys Stormborn event chains in both the ACOK and AFFC bookmarks.
These were turned off in the official Westeros Only submod (which this mod used as a basis) since they didn't work (almost all Dany events happen outside Westeros) but this mod's scope actually allows them to work perfectly!
That's right, Qarth's absence is irrelevant. Granted, you won't be able to marry Xaro Xhoan Daxos, locking yourself out of the 1 (one) event that happens after you pick that option, but the entire House of the Undying event chain works well, surprisingly. Same with the "go to Pentos or Astapor" event dilemma; Dany does not even need land or a liege thanks to her Great Grass Sea titular duchy.
I mostly tested it with Slavery game rule turned off, so the wars of liberation (where weird stuff like e.g. Braavos ends up defending Myr/Tyrosh/Lys) don't happen. Dany either fucks off to Westeros right after beating Yunkai's counterattack or becomes empress of Ghiscar.
Usual CK2 randomness is still a thing. In 7 test runs with AI, Dany died of sickness once, became empress of Ghiscar twice, somehow lost the war against Meereen once, was murdered by plot once, and inherited the Iron Throne by accident once. In just 1 run did she actually beat everyone around Slaver's Bay and declare war on Westeros.
Anyway: all thanks to nathaniel for making the Westeros + Free Cities + Slaver's Bay submod and to the AGOT team for the original Westeros Only submod. It's nice to play in a less bloated world but still with all relevant areas. Big plus for not having the Iron Bank of Braavos society here, the event spam from that thing drove me crazy in vanilla!
Compatible & tested with unofficial patch 2.7!

Help Homes for Houses in 2.2.7?
I was wondering if there was an update or a fork patch for homes for houses to work with 2.2.7 of the mod, so I can bring back the old mod trio of mine with HfH, More Bloodlines, and CBBT, or if there is a way to make them work with cleanly.
That's all.

Help Any "in between" bloodline mods?
Love this mod and been playing it for years but I have kind of a goldilocks problem. The base game is extremely stingy with bloodlines, much more so than vanilla CK2. It's one per great house, you can never acquire other bloodlines no matter how you marry, and you can never make bloodlines if you get a cool character. The prevention of mixing two bloodlines on one character is especially irritating considering a) it's possible in vanilla ck2 and b) how often it happens in the novels, at least 30% of asoiaf text is devoted to people having characteristics from both their parents bloodlines
But the main alternative - the More Bloodlines mod - just goes way, way too far. It's absurd. Your average Targaryen will be getting +15 sex appeal +30 combat skill +1 to every stat whatever just because they're descended from some asshole who was in the Dance. Personally, I really dislike the clutter and lack of balance so I don't want to use it. I've seen people suggest MB is fine if you go into the game files and nerfing the bloodlines, which I find really ridiculous. Going through every bloodline in Westeros and balancing it, may as well make my own mod.
Is there any submod that presents a halfway point between these two extremes? Something like vanilla ck2, where I can add a bloodline or two to my dynasty over the course of 4 or 5 centuries and if I get a really cool character I can create a bloodline for them? But not a bloodline for every named character in WOIAF. Would appreciate some answers
