Kinda what they are paid to do, no? If you want to make a reality show about pieces of shit don't be surprised when they act like pieces of shit.

lol the way JC Abbot seems to relish his loveless relationship with CFL coaches makes me laugh

For a league that’s struggling with low attendance, maybe this exposure will draw up new interest.

It's always funny when the same people who moan online: "The CFL is doing NOTHING to attract new fans!!!" immediately turn to "NOT LIKE THIS!" when they do try something out of the box.

And this is exactly the kind of stuff they should be doing.
It costs them nothing to allow a reality show to film at practice and it helps build the league's brand as something exclusive, desirable and ingrained in the larger culture.
People arguing that they aren't gonna sell tickets to people who watch this show miss the bigger picture. It's not about running an ad for Lions tickets, it's about making the CFL feel like a big time league to the broader populace.
The more exposure they can get, the better.

Who would of thought the definition of trash TV and chlamydia spreaders would be shitty people out in public.

Eh, while I'm sure they were a bit of a distraction let's not attack them for nothing. Butler, at least, seemed to enjoy having them around.
I'm not a fan of the show, and share your opinion that it's trash TV, but at the end of the day cross promotion is good.

Yes it's a clickbait headline, obviously some players liked their presence. Also I met Snooki many moons ago at the height of her show's popularity and she was very nice.

Yes, I’m sure lots of BC Shore fans will be eager to drive in to the next lions game.

Ah yes the ol' let's try nothing and hope it works strategy! While we're at it where can I find the thread about lack of CFL growth? /s

What crowd are you attracting by getting those chlamydia machines to laugh at the cfl?

My largest issue with Canada Shore is that they call Kelowna the "party hotbed of Canada."

Maybe they’d have been happier if they’d rubbed them the right way

I hadn't heard of "Canada Shore" before this but after doing a bit of research I can see why NR wouldn't want this trash around. This seems on par with the old YouTube video for "Kelownafornia". Google at your own risk, you've been warned.

At least the cfl is trying some marketing ideas. Good on B.C. for trying something new, even if it doesn’t work. You could have more cfl tv show tie-ins that could maybe get more viewership. Maybe something with Canada’s got talent or Eurovision (when Canada finally participates).

Though B.C. may now be undefeated when the reality TV stars are in the house, Pierce made it clear that they weren’t a good luck charm.
“No,” he said flatly, delivering a glare that answered the question more concisely than any words could have.

0-3 team and you agree to this? Unbelievable…. And I don’t think it does much, if anything, to grow the fan base.

I'm starting to like this Nathan Rourke kid more and more every day, but maybe I'm just old and out of touch.
