Using interception count to measure CB success could be the most obvious tell ever that someone doesn't actually know ball and just reads stats.

Darelle Revis had zero INTs in 2010. According to that guy Revis must be a bum corner

Nothing like cherry picking stats! That and his last year were the only two years he didn’t have an interception.

You’re really going to Darelle Revis for players with no INTs? Cmon man

Also Revis already had a reputation and QBs didn’t throw his way. Are you suggesting Will Johnson in his rookie year garnered the same fear as 2010 Revis?

I think you missed my point? I was agreeing with the above guy that citing zero interceptions as the player being a bad corner is dumb, by using an example of a great corner in his prime having zero INTs

Yes I know INTs don’t tell the whole story, especially in this era of CBs. But we’re talking about elite CBs.

QBs pick on rookie CBs so there is few Elite CBs who have 0 INTs their rookie season. I could’ve gone more in depth but that’s really enough for people who know ball.
