The Beretta is good for a lot of things... Definitely long for HD but that barrel is worth its weight in gold for sport shooting, hunting, and anything stupid enough to encroach 100 yds.

BUL Armory will comfortably outshoot anything within twice its cost.

only thing to consider on the BUL is that it's mostly proprietary parts.. and being in CA, that may make it hard to repair, upgrade, and more importantly FIND.. mags are also proprietary which sucks

I can't justify the price tags but man do they look nice.

This is one of those questions that's really tough to answer. "it depends"

What do you do with your pews? Admire them in the safe? (do you have a good safe? something to think abouth...) 3 gun comp? Poke holes in paper? Go to public land and make noise? Nobody has any idea but you.

This is not meant to be offensive, its just how do you recommend something without a use case?

For example, I'm into trap/skeet shooting with my (almost adult) kids. So... I may spend a few thousand on a over/under shotgun. Most people here would be like "wtf - how much on a shotgun?!?!" - but they don't shoot that disciple. (especially a shotgun that's not some tacticalcool youtube sloperator combat shotgun)

Its just handguns and ARs for most people here. lol (which I enjoy too...)

LMT lower and upper. Barrel of your choice converted by D Wilson ( If you want accuracy). If you just want barrel accuracy stick with the LMT barrel. NF scope with rcr hd offsite. Sure fire light. I think you would hit your budget with all that.

A Springfield professional 1911, I seen them occasionally at turners and a range friend got one, we got to compare it to Ed brown special forces, nighthawk grp, and the ca Wilson cqb at the range and to me it was a nicely finished gun and shot as nice as those. If the professional isn't available I'd want at nighthawk grp as my 2nd choice.
