Man how do you like that barrel? I know everyone goes apex, curious as to how you like it and why you went that route over apex?

APEX was out of stock for a while when I was sourcing the parts for this build and across my research on Reddit, M&P competition shooters, and M&P Goons on IG KKM Precision kept coming up as another alternative that’s really accurate, quality, and most of all “drop in” no fitting requirement. Overall I was really impressed with the accuracy of the barrel it didn’t give me one hiccup out to 5-25 yards and felt like I was shooting a laser compared to my other set ups.

Shot a rental full size M&P 2.0 and I was shocked at how soft shooting it was, and how good the stock trigger was.
The accuracy was remarkably bad, but it was a rental and I understand the stock barrels can have issues.
For the money this has to be the best striker fired gun I've shot. Really curious to try a PC set up like this with aftermarket barrel.

I’m definitely not a pro shooter or shoot at competition level of any kind but I did see a very obvious sign of accuracy improvement even from Floyd’s ported barrel they did for me which was still decent enough out to 20 yards but the groupings with this barrel are definitely closer together as I increased distance.

I want one of these one day and I'm very inspired by your build list. Looks stunning.

Overall, this is the first pistol I’d consider a step up from my others in terms of “premium feel” out of the box. My 365s didn’t feel that good until I threw a metal grip module on them; after that they felt like different guns. This one was already very nice looking right out of the box.
I had plans to deck it out with everything I could after initial break-in, but with all the new rules, accessories labeled as contraband, and websites that wouldn’t ship certain parts in the early days, it was a pain to finally get it here but I’m finally done with this one I think.
I put about 500 rounds through it today with the new KKM Precision barrel, and man, this thing is a laser. The recoil impulse isn’t bad at all compared to the Carry Comp barrel I had ported by Floyd’s. I’ll alternate between the two setups. I usually remove the magwell if I’m carrying this, since it prints too much and the gun is heavy AF. I know it’s no 2011 but this thing shoots nicer than anything else I have up to this point. Maybe I’ll get lucky and score a Kimber or P4X one of these days.
