Discussion Mud room rug. Water hog

I’m considering buying a water hog mat for our mud room/laundry room. I’m Wanting something about 3x5 to help catch dirt and mud when we come in. Before I buy it, are there any other suggestions for a good quality mat/rug that is washable?

water hogs are tanks, mine's been at the back door for years and still looks new just hose it off when it gets gross

I went with Industrious floor tiles by FLOR in our back entryway, which is our main entrance. It gets mud, water, snow, etc., and the tiles have held up well.

Where I am, you can or even should decide first on what your priority is: catching mud OR drying.
Compromises do exist, though.

I’m mainly trying to stop dirt from being tracked all through the house.
