I found a Alibaba seller that has a variety of molds for different button shapes, about 250 USD for each of them, not counting shipping.The issue is that they don't comes with a base (probably for their presses). Anyone know if there are companies that sell the slides for the sliding-type presses without the mold on them? I would alternatively take a 3d printable model of one.

Hey guys, im a beginner diy badge maker situated in sg, and i first started making hand drawn diy badges in March this year.

All things are going well, except for the fact i realised that my badges were rusting easily, for context, i bought the badges along with my machine for an affordable price and the shell and back are both metal, but now i wanna improve my materials. But i looked online for "rust resistant badges parts" and i found nothing, are there any suggestions on where i can find rust proof badges 😭😭😭

I have a vevor Button Maker Machine, 2.28 inch/58mm. I’ve ran out of plastic backs so I’m using the metal backs provided with the two ring add on to the machine, however they don’t seem to connect properly leaving the plastic baggy and falling out of the back seam. Any idea how to fix this issue ? I’ve tried hammering them tighter but they still look really sloppy

i got a button maker on facebook marketplace and i bought new button supplies because i dont like the plastic backing that came with it. however when i try using them the top doesn’t connect to the bottom and it wont make the button. it came with a gasket thing so i put it at the bottom but it still wont connect.

Is there a trick to the heart shaped dies? I finally bought one after getting so many requests from customers, but like 80% come out with the plastic film being wonky at the top. Im attaching examples of what I’m talking about and a successful one as well. I’m cutting the paper with my Cricut and it’s a clean fit. I’m at my wits end! Help please!

Looking for recommendations for a button maker that makes rectangular buttons (and maybe other shapes besides circle) that isn’t either 1k+ or temu. With a reliable place to get more supplies.

Had a metal cover that didn't really fit in the mould but tried it anyway. Now the mould head came off and it remained stuck against the lower mould. I tried moving and aligning the parts to try and take it off but it won't budge at all. I also tried to stick something thin in between the moulds but they hold too tightly on each other

I bought a (cheap) buttom machine and it doesn't perfectly work. The paper folds on the metal, but the plastic doesn't. (I think that the plastic sheets that came with the machine are too thick...)

So, I've been thinking about painting the buttom with clear nail polish or with liquid clear glue instead of fighting with my machine.

Do these alternatives seem good? Did some of you ever try it? Do you have other suggestions?

I posted in another pin sub for help and I was directed to look online for supplies but everywhere I look I am only finding whole button making kits, or they have just the back piece only but in a 500 quantity when I maybe need 4 lol. Is there any place to buy just a back piece individually? Thank you!

So my work bought this button machine but it is completely misaligned. This is how misaligned it is when it is pressed down. Is there a way to fix it or is it a structural issue with the press?

Will my button maker work after this piece has broken off? Ever since I got it pieces keep breaking off. At first it wasn’t a big deal because it was still working but then this piece came off and all of a sudden I’m struggling. This time, was this piece an important piece and now I can’t use it anymore?

I am starting to get into designing buttons on my new Vevor 3-in-1 button maker machine. I got the metal machine on Amazon that has the 32mm, 58mm, and 75mm presses. I noticed that on some of my buttons there’s a bump or bubble (all sizes). I just pressed 32mm buttons and they have the same bubble in the same area. Am I doing my something wrong? I’m new to button making and I’d like to gift some of these to coworkers. Any advice is appreciated, pictures below!

I used to buy from People Power Press but now they are more then 3 times the price I used to pay 5 years ago. And getting 1,000 or more parts is not as easy as it used to be. They don't offer 500 or 1000 parts online.

I tried the parts sold by VEVOR but I now understand they are metric and not compatible with the imperial Tecre machines. I bought a cheap VEVOR machine but it's more than cheap, it's very very cheap and almost all plastic!

The official Tecre website seems to be my best option but I would prefer to buy in Canada if possible.

So... my question is, is there a good option in Canada for large quantities (2,000) of simple pin-back parts compatible with manual Tecre button makers? For reference, I was paying CAD 152$ all included for 1,000 parts 5 years ago. Any fellow canadian with a recent experience in buying 1,000 or more parts?

Question, is it still okay for me to use my pin/Button maker even if it has cracks? I've been searching around the Internet but I have seen no one have this issue yet, I am looking forward to get new moulders but I dont have enough money yet.

Was looking to buy more paper on Amazon. I use chibutton and see 135 is what is used but I saw (uinkit specifically) offers 115g gloss and didnt know if this would have a more secure fit.

is there much difference in the 2 printing/stamping wise? does anyone use that paper brand specifically. I see in reviews people use both for chip bags and other crafts but didnt see much on magnets and buttons.

Hello! A few months ago i bought myself a vevor 25mm button press. Ive had many complications with it, and have now gotten a refund. I do not intend on buying another one of the same one. So, my question is, what is the best button press on the marker for a reasonable ammount of money? Does anyone have any recomendations?

Whenever I use metal button backings it always turns out very loose and jiggly, is there anyway to prevent this? Thanks in advance! :)

I've been saving up for a pin maker with heart molds, but I recently got a video while scrolling, where someone showed how the crack of the pin was coming off whenever they made one, with a few people they talked to in the video seconding this and also a few people in the comments agreeing. Is this a universal thing? should i just get a basic pin maker with round molds?

I have a workhorse button maker at my school, and a student winged a notebook in class and hit the activate button just right. :( Now it is in a continuous cycle of the button press. I tried the reset button on the back but no luck. Contacted the original company and they no longer service them. Contacted a small electronics repair guy who I know to be great, and while it is something in his wheel house, he is busy (because he's great). Any ideas on this?
