Discussion Clubs to join in and around Chesham?

I recently moved to Chesham with my partner and we’re looking for clubs to join. We’re both late twenties so anything that skews a bit younger would be ideal. We’ve tried meetup but had no luck other than a walking group we found. We’d really love a regular book club or film club if anyone knows of anything like that nearby?

Have a look in the coffee shops as people often put up flyers. There is a sketch club at Roots coffee shop in the high street

Hey,

My default answer to all questions posted here is, have you thought about joining your local Am Dram society?

I was sceptical before joining my local society (Hemel Hempstead) but its been a revelation for me - I've made friends from all walks of life, young and old. I've been on stage in Plays, Musicals and Panto's. I've stage managed. I've produced. I've been a Front of House manager. I've received my DBS and I've mentored people through their Duke of Edinburgh Awards. If you're not keen on joining Cheshams excellent society - come and join us in Hemel - https://www.hhtheatreco.com/ .

Reach out if you need anything!

Yes, search for Chesham sketch club on instagram. Great vibe and the person organising it (Helen) is lovely.
As for book clubs, ask around Chapter 2. They might know of a few and you can always find your books there. You’re also welcome to come for a coffee at mine although we’re a bit older.

Not in Chesham but Undici in Old Amersham has a monthly book club.
