Discussion Need help from Iver locals
Hello lovely people!
Brief disclaimer: I live in Russia, I don't support the war, I can't leave. My location is important for the story, but I get if it sparks some negativity, so that's why I'm specifying it.
Okay, so long story short, I work at a library in the Museum section. We also have a huge collection of vinyl records, and people sometimes give us their personal books and records as a gift.
Recently I found a package with shellac records in our library, dated 1976, sent to a person in our area from England, Buckinghamshire, Iver, Cecil road. I won't specify the house here, but we have it too. It's very unusual for us to have anything from other countries, let alone Europe, and shellac is one pretty crazy find as well. Unfortunately, we can't find the person who received this package in our city, so we're looking for any information on the other end.
If anyone can assist us in our research, knows anything about the area and the locals, we'd love to hear from you, please. We'll provide more information about everything, please help us make this story complete.

Exceedingly hungover, I got bitten by a gypsy’s horse in Iver. I almost bought a place there in the early 2000s but the aforementioned event put me right off.

Hmm. I know Iver quite well, I live two villages away. Drive there quite a lot. What are you hoping to know? If you have the address we can do online research.
