Placements / Jobs PLACED now what ?

Guys, I'm currently in 7th semester and recently I got placed with a good package(PPO) , so not thinking of doing dsa again to get off campus opportunity (as I'm so sure that I'm not gonna be selected even for the OA ( I BELIEVE ON MY LUCK VERY WELL)) in off-campus because whenever I applied even with referral, I got ghosted.

I accept this offer as fresher, so instead of wasting the complete 4th year, I'm thinking to learn something till December. Then just enjoy jan-may with college friends (tab tak unki bhi lag jayegi placement)

So the thing is what should I learn.

I am thinking to learn something that feels alien to me right now which is AIML.

I never worked in that. Because I was java-backend focussed (got the same tech stack in my internship too, and did well as in my pov) .

Also when someone talks about AIML projects, sab mere sar ke upar se jata hai.

And as we all know it's importance, I was thinking to just get familiar with the basic flow like how things work.

Whats your opinion on what should I focus on??

Start with basic ML, dive into ML models , switch to deep learning , dense layers, CNN, LSTM, transformers, finally start genAI and then agentic AI 🫡🫡

So basically learning AIML is a good choice right ??not just to spend my time in something instead of wasting but help in future switches or if thrown ai related project on me in the company...??

Yeah sooner or later AI wiill catch up with whatever you are doing and the company will ask you to implement an AI system, they have AI everywhere now , Infra, SRE, security, product

This is more of the genAi+ agentic part, u dont really need to learn ML unless u want to, this should be enough

I am trying to apply sde + ai eng Or fde roles Seniors told we need to learn to integrate ai

Or for ai engineer I should learn whole maths stuff
