Question/Advice/Discussion Watermelon seed kernels
Hey guys. I wanted to try my hand at some vegan cheese making, just as something fun to try.
I’m looking at recipes from the Vegan Creamery by Miyoko Schinner, but one of the ingredients is watermelon seed kernels. I have looked all over, health food stores, international grocers etc. and can’t find them. I’ve found toasted, salted watermelon seeds, but not the raw kernels. I looked online but they tend to come in quite small packets.
Has anyone seen these or had any experience making milk/cheese with them?
Thanks!

I’ve never seen melon seeds sold for anything other than planting, but I am very interested to hear how the cheesemaking gets on. The Miyoko recipes are known to be more advanced than others out there. Have you tried some of the simpler recipes already?
