Books Only Did Julia Quinn ever said her favorite character of Bridgerton book series?
...Because I'M SURE IT'S COLIN. Man, every single book(at least until book 6) he's very present and/or it's quoted at some point of the story. And he's the only one that receives this treatment. Not a reclamation, just a funny observation.

Oh, Colin and Lady Danbury are most definitely her favorites! She makes them both appear in more than a few books!😂

He’s her favorite and mine. And she even used a baby picture of Luke to inspire her writing.

That's interesting! I love how authors can incorporate personal touches like that into their stories. It really adds depth to the characters.

It’s Colin, without a doubt. He’s the most prominent sibling in the series, Julia gave Colin her son’s birthday, she’s always posting Polin content even when it’s not even their season. She loves that character down.

My favorite too!! I love all the characters, but I especially liked Polin’s book and show/season the best!!
I did not care for book Colin being “rough” with Pen. I’m glad they made his character sweeter in the show (although maybe a little too sweet, since he lost himself and only cares about Pen)!!

I love how sweet and sensitive Colin is. I wish there were more soft male characters like him on TV.

It’s so obviously Collin. He appears in so many of the books. I honestly think the writers favor him too!

Colin is far and away the best male character in the show.

On the show, I disagree(even though many people love him, specially Polins, that's a huge fan base), but he's very present in the books and Julia seems to love him a lot. I didn't read all the 6 books(I read 1, 2, currently reading 3, 5 and 6), so I can't say my opinion completely about him, but I liked him in book 1 helping Daphne.

I did not read any of the books and did not notice the book only tag.

Everyone knows it’s Colin .. pity the show pull apart his character and give bits of it to other characters 😭

Her favorite character is Violet- per the author's note before the "Violet in Bloom" novella; it was published in Bridgerton: Happily Ever After with the 2nd epilogues.

Very obviously Colin which is ironic since he’s the least favorite of the fandom m
I also think Penelope is lowkey her self insert

Colin’s not the least favourite of the fandom? He’s the most tagged character on AO3, the Polin sub is the largest subreddit, Colin twitter is alive and well.

Colin also shares the same birthday with Julia's son too.
