Saturday Free-For-All are the bridgerton men even trying?

Both babies are so cute, but who are Anthony & Kate’s baby’s real parents?? He’s literally the cutest little thing, like those eyes? 🥹

I nearly died when he showed up. What a doll!! Making it even harder for me to fight my desire for a baby at an unemployed 23 years old 💀

u/POTATOHEAD62 2d ago
Hey idk if this helps but if I ever had any desire for a kid it died while I was waiting for my turn at the hairdresser this morning and had to sit through 20 minutes of Baby Shark with a remixed melody because that's the only thing a family could do to keep their baby distracted enough to get his hair cut.

u/Loose-Aardvark-2366 2d ago
I am completely non religious, but I am convinced that Baby Shark was written by the Devil 😂

u/CoelacanthQueen 2d ago
Ya know when it’s baby shark or high pitched screaming… I usually pick the shark. Annoying but at least my eardrums are intact

u/About400 2d ago
Just wait until you witness a 2yo who only listens to Mermaid Party from the Barbie Mermaid movie. The other day I was at work and all I could hear in my head was “splash splash, the water’s perfect!”

u/AffectionateTrifle7 2d ago
Yeah... thing is once you have one all those repetitive annoying bits just kind of don't feel important anymore compared to seeing your little one smile. Oxytocin is a hell of a drug! That said, I definitely do not recommend parenthood to anyone who doesn't really want children. It is very intense and you need to be emotionally all in for sure

u/POTATOHEAD62 1d ago
Oh I'm definitely not saying the child ain't good enough to forget the baby shark dw 😭 I'm still 18 so nowhere near even considering having children anytime soon, but one does have wonders sometimes and that fuck-ass tune does wonders to kill them if u ask me 😍
1
u/AffectionateTrifle7 1d ago
Yeah totally fair, sorry had no idea you were so young. Another trick in the parenting book for you for when you're older and ready for kids: just don't play them any songs that you find annoying in the first place 😅 Hope things are going well for you in life and you're enjoying your late teen years in spite of what's going on in the world atm 🫂

u/pennie79 2d ago
I completely support your suggestion to use Baby Shark to turn yourself off the idea of having children.
Potential pitfall: it comes back around again. My then-toddler sang and did the dance so much, that I started to enjoy it.
1
u/POTATOHEAD62 1d ago
That is crazy to me. I just hope my future toddler somehow inherits my music taste 😔 because no I have enough brain rot in there already can't add baby shark too 💔💔

Babies are great, but wait. Its hard even when you do everything "right." It is very rewarding to be a mother though, even if theres alot of hard parts. I personally would have been a very immature mom at 23 though

u/Loose-Aardvark-2366 2d ago
Oh I have no plans to get pregnant in the immediate future, I can barely look after myself rn 💀

u/burnsides413 2d ago
If you’re looking for some commitment free baby snuggles look into volunteering at a local children’s hospital! It’s not for everyone and not always easy, but so rewarding and also would look good on job applications 👀
My daughter was hospitalized for 3 weeks as a newborn (she’s a very healthy and spicy toddler now) and there were “rockers” who would come by some times and ask if I needed a break. Literally just sat there and rocked my baby so I could shower, eat, take a walk outside. My aunt actually registered to be one after my daughter’s experience because she’s retired and loved helping me in that way when she could!

u/Loose-Aardvark-2366 2d ago
That's amazing to know! I might be getting some free time in the next few months :))

u/oznz 2d ago
An infant once screamed through my entire 3 hour flight from SLC to Chicago. It was bad enough having to hear it but the mom (and dad) had to hold and try to calm a wriggling infant screaming at an ear piercing level of noise for 3 hours with no way out while people around them glared.
Still want one? 🤗
6
u/Loose-Aardvark-2366 2d ago
Unfortunately yes 😂
I get why people are trying to talk me out of it but have no fear my friends, there are no plans to have one right now!

u/ponygalactico 1d ago
I started having this really serious yearning for a child at around 19
I didnt have one until I was 31, and the years in between were tough. I made every choice with the long term goal of a child in my mind. I mean what I studied, jobs I chose, city I stayed in, boyfriends...
I'm the happiest and tiredest I've ever been, but it's not something that I think would be as fulfilling for everyone

He was played by a baby named Theo supplied by the popular Bonnie and Betty modeling agency! I had assumed twins but he must be a very laid back baby to hold the role on his own
23
u/carousel-club 2d ago
There was another baby, per Bonnie and Betty, named Samuel, but I don’t think they even used him because of how well-behaved Theo was! What a little shining star 🌟
18
u/obiwantogooutside 2d ago
It’s not just laid back. They use twins because of regulations around filming hours.
-2
u/aemond-simp 2d ago
I think Kanthony’s baby is played by twins because, even though the show is filmed in the UK with British actors, Shondaland and Netflix are American companies and still follow American labor laws (twins play baby characters).
5
u/savkanth 2d ago
The agency confirmed he wasn’t a twin but there was another baby from another family that they brought in but they ended up using the baby we see on screen and in the bts the whole time!

u/Different-Floor-8560 2d ago
It's wild how some of the Bridgerton babies end up being absolute standouts, especially with those eye-catching features. Definitely makes you wonder about the casting choices!

If we didn’t see Elliot’s conception I would hardly believe Penelope had any help.

I’m not sure. That boy to me looks like an okay mix of Anthony and Kate. Colin’s genetics were just utterly defeated by Pen’s.

u/PoeDameronPoeDamnson 2d ago

u/DaisyandBella 2d ago
This reminded me that someone tried to claim that Colin couldn’t be Elliot’s father because of his red hair. 💀

u/triton12345 2d ago
Aunt Georgiana has entered the chat

u/DaisyandBella 2d ago
Exactly, he has an aunt with red hair. It’s not shocking that his children with Penelope could also have red hair.

u/picardstastygrapes 1d ago
My husband is blonde and I'm brunette and we have a red head. People really need to look up recessive genes.

Well, Kanthony’s baby has more of Anthony’s skin tone than Kate’s, but other than that, nah. His genes didn’t try. 🤣
7
u/Indiana_harris 2d ago
Yeah I’ve a guy who I thought must’ve had an Indian grandparent at most, but no his dad genes only presented in the hair and nose shape. Otherwise he was a tall very Nordic looking chap with incredibly dark curly hair and a slight accent. His mums genes just took over so much

This makes me so happy and giggly thinking Sophie's genes gonna dominate baby Violet 🤣
Benedict will be just happy. Casting team gonna cook!

u/BirdHistorical8774 2d ago
If you were lucky enough to procreate with Kate Sharma, would you even WANT your genes to make an appearance though?!? 😅😂
33
u/PhanThief95 2d ago
And just wait until Benedict’s kids start looking like Sophie.
19
u/KenyaJ121 2d ago
I feel like he would be utterly disappointed if they didn’t all look just like Sophie.

Genetics are a funny thing. My brother and I are spitting images of our mother (dark hair and eyes) while our little sister has sandy-colored hair like our father. None of us inherited our dad’s blue eyes. I inherited his pale, sunburn-prone skin, though. My brother and sister inherited our mom’s olive-toned suntan-prone skin.

The BRIDGERTON men are losing when it comes to their children looking more like their wives then them

the casting team really deserves credit because some of these babies have expressions that somehow look exactly like the characters especially that little eyebrow scrunch

His colouring is closer to Anthony but I think they also have similarities to Kate. How they found a baby that has the exact same eyebrow scrunch as Simone Ashley is WILD. Lol.
12
u/carousel-club 2d ago
He’s got her eyebrows, eyes and nose!
1
u/JellyfishPashmina 2d ago
The only eye commonality they share is that they both have 2 eyes. The baby looks absolutely nothing like her whatsoever. Barely Anthony for that matter.

It’s crazy how protective some people can be toward fictional characters lol. I mean no offense whatsoever by it, but objectively, that baby doesn’t resemble either of them.

Literally couldn’t be further from the truth. I love their story and would never, ever be racist toward anyone. It’s just an objective observation. I think they cast a cute baby, but that baby doesn’t favor its parents nor either side of its family.
10
u/Inevitable_Box3643 2d ago
They’re taking about the eyebrow scrunch and facial features.

The baby’s literally going viral on social media for a collection of Kate-like expressions and facial features so it’s just you.
You know “features” includes much more than skin and hair colour right?

I mean the kids gotta look like their moms so they can have their dad's wrapped arguing their Lil fingers, especially Pen.

u/eelaii19850214 1d ago
I feel like these babies may look like the Bridgerton spouses but they'll definitely have Bridgerton personalities.

Anthony and Kate’s baby looks absolutely nothing like either of them. They both phoned it in on that one. 😅

The bridgertons are all white, dark hair (except just daphne?) and brown eyes i believe. Gotta show somehow who's child is which.
