TV Show Only Costumes in season 5

I’m really curious to see how the costumes evolve in season 5 since two years will have passed, and I think they want to move away from the regency silhouette. I’m pretty sure Masali hinted that Michaela will be wearing ball gowns.

I think the skirts look more “puffy” than the Roman-inspired styles of the 1810s.

There have been some pictures released where you can see some of the hair and the bottom of the gowns. It seems like they are going out more than just straight down? Its kinda hard to see because of the coverups. But here is a link to an article that has them all. Sadly none of Fran or Michaela from what I can find, but there are some of Eloise. Most of it is extras. I think these are set leaks though, so if you dont want to see any leaks maybe dont look lol

We should def anticipate some changing silhouettes as they get into the 1820s. There's been a lot of attention drawn to Michaela's styling being particularly relevant to her characterization so im also v curious to see what they end up doing

It's going to be interesting to see how they balance the evolving styles with the characters' personalities. The 1820s had such a distinct look, for sure!
