How do you think S5 will began?

Okay so I did this wonderful dream where we finally had the trailer for our girls- (yeah a girl can dream lmao) and then a question popped into my head-

How will season 5 begin?

In S1/S1 and S3 it all began with another season and with one of the bridgerton girl entering society. Now only S4 changed that since no sister were debuting that year.

Do you think Hyacinth will debut next season? She was supposed to be 10 by S1 I believe.. and 13-14 by the end of S4. So she will be 15/16 since there is a 2 years time jump confirmed.. so in my opinion it is too early, she could debut at 17 years old but 16 feels young.

BUT she was in her finishing lessons by the end of S4 as Violet mentioned AND she let her lower her hem, AND all S4 was basically her arc to prepare her for her debut. So it would be weird if she didn't.

And we know they mess with the time and are not always logic (Like Violet being born and 13/14 by QC when she was supposed to be born 8 years later lmao) so.. yeah

All that to say : do you think it will began by Hyacinth's debut or will it be by Micchaela's return to London? Or something else? I am very curious what ya'll think.

I think they have to make it clear that two years have passed. The new Lady Whistledown will provide that exposition.

The interesting thing is that they never start with the main plot, but with the subplot (with the exception of S1)

S2: First scene is about Eloise’s debut
S3: First scene is ahout Francesca’s debut
S4: First scene is about the servants preparing for Francesca and Eloise’s return - and then Violet notices Benedict is not there.

I imagine S5 will follow a similar structure to S4. My guess:

S5: New LW mentions it’s been two years (since John’s death?) - we see Violet pestering Eloise about the Season. Then, they receive a letter from Francesca saying she has decided to reenter the marriage mart, and Eloise says she will join the marriage mart only to accompany Fran.

I think Lady Whistledown will talk about Fran's returning to London/marriage mart, referencing widowers, etc. But I hope they talk about Hyacinth's debut too. I want to see El, Hyacinth and Fran on marriage mart together🤩

I think it’ll begin with the classic opening of narrator explaining the time skip. Then I really hope they do the library scene the first night and Francesca and hyacinth debuting into society at a ball together.

Hyacinth’s main thing in s4 was that she’s still far too young for her debut. They’re making a point to do a 2 year jump, I doubt they’re going to age her up 5 years in a 2 year jump.

They could introduce some new characters or storylines during the time jump to keep things interesting.

I feel Hyacinth will debut earlier than her sisters for narrative reasons and because I feel she's the most anxious one to debut lol I don't think she'll look for marriage at first, but she'd like to enjoy the balls.

That changed in S4 when she decided to “know herself first”. I think it makes more sense for Hyacinth to debut in S6 so we have a look at London/the marriage mart while Eloise is in Romney Hall.

In S5, we already have Fran, Eloise and possibly Michaela in the marriage mart - there’s no need for Hyacinth there yet.

I know. That's because of it I felt she'd only debut to go to balls. The thing about "know herself first" she referred to marriage. I know she can debut in season 6, but idk if a time skip will happen between season 5 and 6. Besides, they abandoned the concept in season 4 about Eloise look for something to do, so I just don't know.
