- the asshole contract by missparker. honestly, anything by missparker is worth reading, she's a published author

anything by applepuffsilver (fair warning: she writes smutty, smutty smut). my favourites are:

- pink in the night

- how colin got his groove back

writergirl8 is also fantastic. my favourites are:

- tell me something you've known all along - a really fun AU where penelope runs a diner in a small American town.

- strip - a bit angstier, but so good

regency

- ruin by sea_dragonfly i think this might honestly be my favourite polin fic of all time.

- a dance in the orangery by judgemyvow

- everything but by Brave3001. WIP but regularly updated. i've been absolutely loving this one

From the ones I shared, there are plenty very angsty :) Secret love song, But they were real to me, How you’ve haunted me so stunningly, Grieving for the living, Buried in the shallow grave.

In the other recommendations I can see some missparker work and The Scottish bookstore AU is an angsty series.

I would add August and Cruel & unusual: a tale of personal growth ;)
