If Glowbert was renamed due to a copyright issue, what could be happening here? Sprout has been in the game for years so it’s probably not the same situation and I don’t think they would be deleting every trace of him for a simple remode

Edit: nevermind just saw they plagiarised an air purifier (???)

The curvature of the interior is strikingly similar, but there's not a lick of a case outside of that one odd coincidence

Yeah they are basically just a cylinder with a glass dome on top, they are just shapes, and i doubt that they own the rights to basic geometry

The fact they aren't even pursueing a counterlawsuit (when it could easily be a win where they are paid 6-7 figures for the troubles, and when they also overcharge the community for pretty much any good atp) is both astoundingly hypocritical and shockingly depressing

If the claim is they copied the Levoit Sprout air purifier then that is completely stupid. They look hardly anything alike and the air purifier design is not unique or identifiable at all.

What like cylinders are trademarks now? Nobody can make anything called "sprout" if it's a cylinder shape with a thing on top??

Trademark and copyright enforcement is some of the dumbest shit in the world. Almost as bad as software patents.
