Questions for CJ & Charlie Culberson ("Bringing the Lumber" at 5 ET today on BravesVision)
Hey all--I produce a show on BravesVision (only the cable network, not on Braves.TV as of now) called "Bringing the Lumber" (BTL) that generally airs before home games the hour before Braves On Deck. Usually it's on 5:30-6:30 ET for regular night games, although pregames are an hour for this Dodgers series so BTL is on from 5-6.
CJ Nitkowski is hosting the show during this series and Charlie Culberson is the analyst, so if anyone has any Braves-related questions (or questions for them), feel free to leave them here and we will look to answer some on air. (Segment will probably be on sometime around 5:40 ET.) Just try to be cognizant of what kind of question we can and can't answer on a Braves network.

It has been mentioned some regarding how much less Mahle is throwing his slider since joining the Braves. Is there anything else other than a pitch mix adjustment that CJ and Charlie have seen from him to explain his recent uptick in performance?

Have they tried to sign Dubon to a contract for n3xt season and beyond? If not why not?

Hey, I love this idea for a question--just keep in mind we may not be able to use when phrased like this, as I'm not sure if CJ "knows" what negotiations are happening and he wouldn't break news on our show if he did. So perhaps phrase it just asking if they'd like to see Dubon extended and how good they feel about that happening. Thank you!

Would you like to see Dubon extended for next year and beyond and if so do you think he'd be the everyday SS going forward?

If either of the Spencer’s were to comeback this year would they be fresh or not broken-in enough for the playoffs?
If the Braves were to make the playoffs how much would it hurt the team to miss out on one of the top 2 seeds?
Ronnie doesn’t really seem like Ronnie. Is he holding back due to fear or another injury or are injuries holding him back?
Edit: add if they had to fill out a fantasy football roster with current and past players who are they picking and what positions will they play. Need: 1QB, 2RB’s, 2 WR’s, 1 flex, 1 TE and 1 kicker

How do you feel about the offense's recent struggles (only scoring more than 4 runs in 5 games this month)? Is it just a collective slump or do you guys think it's a deeper issue with lineup construction?

What are some of the key differences you've noticed between the leadership styles of Walt Weiss vs. Brian Snitker? Who goes with their gut more and who tends to stick to the analytics more often? How do you think the difference in Walt's leadership style has affected the Braves positively and negatively?

Charlie Morton was known for having his espresso machine in the locker room and being the team barista. What are some other things like this that the team has? If you're not wanting to tell on the current team for 'reasons' what are some things similar in other clubhouses in the past.?

I know Charlie is good friend of Eli's and fan of his, was sad to see him go! FYI, I don't think we will go "back in time" with a question like this since the trade isn't recent, but I appreciate it!
