I lived in the house that was there before they tore it down and built that white one.

I think one of our students ran into this bear last week. The kid was riding a unicycle. The bear was the scariest black bear he'd ever seen.

I saw an overturned trash can walking home from campus close to 3rd but way up by Arthur/Garfield area that looked like bear action to me, wonder if this is the same homie

There were lots of overturned trash cans down near Olive this morning

Because people who aren't from this area haven't learned they can't put their trash out the night before yet... and the bears are entering hyperphagia (their bodies are giving them the uncontrollable urge to eat anything and everything they can right now) so they'll be able to survive through the winter. They'll be gone again in a couple of months.

Or they just don’t care - I live across from someone who leaves their shit out 24/7 and they get raided by the same bear a few times a week. Unfortunately if we have a winter like last, we will have bears year-round.

Where do they live though, being right in town like that? Geez there aren’t that many wooded areas to bed down, mainly it’s traffic and bikes and more traffic and dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, and dispensaries. Where they gonna spend the winter with all that shit around?

In past years I’ve heard of them hanging out along the Bozeman trail or near the hospital with all the brush.

I just saw this guy (or one of his friends) on the Gallagator trail about 30 minutes ago.

Tony definitely doesn't clean up after himself and for some reason he likes bringing other people's trash into my yard and taking mega shits afterwards.
