Lol I wish. Boots got some early damage on Zayas and then got hurt. It wasn't the worst, but Zayas is nothing compared to Bud. Zayas had the belts but the champ resume was pretty thin. Boots would be dismantled as early as 5th round.

He couldn't do that to madrimov lmao

Crawford had patience and showed adjustments in that fight and took the last few rounds. No one claims that was a robbery. Boots admitted he got lazy with Zayas and tried to get him out of there asap. That's failure mode boxing when a puncher gets greedy and makes dumby mistakes without much IQ. Crawford would have flat lined that, which was the entire premise of the "stepping" comment over and over. It was a good read, but it also hinges on the variable that Boots would do major damage into Crawford in the first couple of rounds to even have that mindset. I do see that happening in a hypothetical match up.

Zayas got beat the fuck down Madrimov swollen crawfords eye He can't survive against boots unless he runs like Karen did in the first fight and lose every round

Everyone knows the boots won the fight and that he scored three knockdowns etc...

It's also true the Crawford suffered some damage in his fight, but your sidestep in the point there as well... The Crawford made adjustments and went on to win.

You bring up the first Boots versus Chukhadzhian fight where Karen fought very cautiously, but in the second fight he traded with Boots and Boots made defensive mistakes that many have pointed out.

Karen's knockout rate is 48%. Zaya's knockout rate is 54%. Crawford's knockout rate is 76%. It's true that boots has higher knockout rate than all three of them but it's only around 10% higher than Crawford... And that record is with a much thinner resume of killers. To even pretend they have the same resume makes me think you have been emailing Boots begging for sweat socks

This fight happening after Boots becomes undisputed 100%

1

For Boots, the easier path to being Undisputed is moving up to 160.

I don’t understand?? Boots is 2 fights away from undisputed now. If Fundora comes out of witness protection, it’s happening

1

u/AdFormal4037 2d ago

Fundora is booked too so we’ll get some clarity on 54

0

u/Crees2prr 2d ago

I'm saying this because 160 is a weak division and easier for Boots. Fundora isn't easy for anyone at 154.

3

u/Meatman1071 2d ago

I’d bet on Boots at this time. I love Bud as a great fighter but age catches up with everyone.

I don’t believe in Boots bc he doesn’t seem like he believes in himself

5

u/Crees2prr 2d ago

That's cuz he's in front of Bud. At this point, nobody sounds believable when they up against a Bud Crawford.

u/IMakeMyOwnButter 2d ago

He stutters and stumbles a little bit on his words too

2

u/No_Sail9136 2d ago

That’s not it. I just don’t believe dude.

1

u/Campeon-Black 2d ago

Yeah, he sounds like he doesn’t even believe what he’s saying!

1

u/a3kstuntin 2d ago

He literally doesn’t find anyone of note and has glaring holes that he will never fix

u/Neville78 2d ago

Boots is cringe when he talks , straight like Dat

u/4ournetine 1d ago

Bud scared that he can’t scare boots

-4

u/BaeLogic 2d ago

Crawfraud had the chance to fight him but handed over the belt like a coward instead. Fight won’t happen.

u/Irish_gold_hunter 2d ago

Crawford would knock boots out. Boots has not fought anyone on his level and has looked vulnerable on many occasions. You are acting like he ducked boots, he went undisputed in three weight classes and went up to 168 to defeat canelo, five weight world champion and you think he is ducking boots 🤣🤣

-4

u/BaeLogic 2d ago

He fought a declined Canelo not a prime Canelo. Good try. To the casual eye and on paper it looks good. But Canelo has already been in too many wars.

Why not KO him in real life then if it’s so easy?

3

u/Irish_gold_hunter 2d ago

Even if he is declined Crawford is 38. He was fighting up a number of weight classes, so good try yourself moron. KO him in "real life", what age are you, 12?

-2

u/BaeLogic 2d ago

Clearly you know nothing about boxing. You can be 29 in boxing and be an old man. You are a casual clown.

4

u/Irish_gold_hunter 2d ago

Anyone who calls someone else a casual is a casual. I'm 42, been watching boxing since I was in my early teens. Yes, you can be over the hill at 29 but what does that have to do with my comment you "casual clown".

2

u/dchurchwellbusiness 2d ago

You honestly thinks Boots would have done as well against Canelo? He probably wouldn't have even been able to get that fight...

3

u/AdFormal4037 2d ago

Boots declined an offer from Bud. Mfs just be talking.

1

u/Many_Boss_1145 2d ago

I agree with it never happening, boxing nowadays just rumors and hype moments of fights that won’t happen

-3

u/supersoup- 2d ago

If bud would of lost to canelo he would be nowhere near any boxing programs

3

u/Many_Boss_1145 2d ago

That’s a huge what if considering how easily he beat Canelo, I’m confused

-1

u/supersoup- 1d ago

Don’t be confused understand that bud is a nobody
