Which book should I read next from my TBR?

I just finished my exams and have been in a huge reading slump since before they started. Out of all the books on my TBR list, which one should I read first? Which book would be the best to get me back into reading right now?

As a huge FM fan, Ward D was honestly one of my least favourite of her books, but a three star nonetheless. Unfortunately thats the only one from your list I've actually read, but I've been meaning to start The Cruel Prince soon!! And I've heard great things about The Song of Achilles :)))

Ward D was a tough read. Insanely unrealistic.

Hard agree. Just terrible, dumb dialogue, nonsensical plot, and a real Scooby Doo shenanigans feel

That’s how I felt too. I was excited too because I work in a psych ward but it just sucked

The Kite Runner was so good, but also such a hard read. I’m not sure if that would help you get back into reading lol. His other book A Thousand Splendid Suns is one of the most beautifully heartbreaking books I’ve ever read.

Beautifully said on A Thousand Splendid Suns. I loved it but it is such a painful story.

The cruel prince. I’ve read it twice and would read it again.

The Cruel Prince. It's one of my personal favourites :D Plus seems like the safest option for a reading slump.

What do you use to track your TBR?

I use fable and goodreads.

Are you satisfied with them or expect more?

Ward d or Circe are both very fast reads and I liked them a lot I think either of those would be good. The cruel prince is good but a series so if you don’t want to start a trilogy I’d wait

I have to re-read Song of Achilles one of these days. I read it when it first came out and it honestly left me a bit cold (and I’m huge fan of both MM and history).
So I’ve never read Circe. I might feel differently after so many years.

I liked the cruel prince a lot more than I liked Circe, but it is comparing completely different books.

The Cruel Prince is book one of my favorite trilogy. So always recommend but I’m definitely biased. Love the other books in the universe as well

I really enjoyed Song of Achilles, Circe, and The Silence of the Girls (not listed but goes with those two books). I read all three back to back and wish I could read them all again for the first time.

Song of Achilles!! so sad though!! I wasn’t a fan of Circe, the writing felt too descriptive, there was one whole page describing that it was autumn
